It can be a combination of many things, if you do not have any items it can be hard to keep it up even if you do everything well. Getting hit does reduce the rank by quite a bit, although it is usually not as bad as just losing rank from not attacking.

The badges you use are indeed super extra important for this fight since Miriam will copy their effects. Well, some of the badges, anyway, she doesn’t replicate all of them... Absolutely AVOID at all costs equipping Pure Love and Armored, these give Miriam massive buffs (Double HP and Can’t be stunned IIRC), they are a big no-no. Next up is DEF Trade. You will make her have Defense Up, so the fight will take longer... I would strongly advise aganist using it. You are probably better off going with ATK Trade, or if you don’t feel as confident, don’t take either, but do NOT use DEF Trade if you don’t want the fight to be so long. DEF Grow and Health Wager should not be used for the same reasons; you will increase her DEF and HP too. In general you want a Glass Cannon build for this. So ATK Trade, Arm Strength, Lucky Seven, Crisis Boost. If you are feeling adventurous (And collected enough Easter Eggs) you can try Mana Wager + both Mana badges for Rainbow Charged spam. ATK Trade will make her hit harder, but it can be worth it since the fight will be shorter, so less time spent dodging attacks = Less time to get hit.
Hmmm well, she is the one actively summoning them, so I would say it counts as her attack, yep. She is the one making it happen in the first place! Tho I dont understand how the Bunny Amulet can bring copies of other people to life but oh well. Just Miriam things I guess. She literally knows when you have an item with you even if the game itself doesnt (Aka if you disable it manually), after all, so it doesnt surprise me...
@@flariz4824 I think because we're in the hall of memories, the copies she's summoning are materialisations of the memories of the people Erina has met along her journey, I mean she IS using your items against you so that makes sense to me...

Also, did you know that on the Rabi-Ribi Wikia Fandom page, it says she's always smiling? In her battle UI, she's literally smiling!

Miriam is actually a peaceful shopkeeper in 0%, she literally cannot hurt you besides using the bosses, but even then, does that count as her attack?
