Back in 2012, I remember this song came in a serial we watched back then "Hitler Didi", the lead actress was about to die so this song was playing and my grandfather (nanu) was also watching the show with me. Next day in the morning he was humming to this song suddenly, my mother asked him to sing something positive, but he said that he was just casually singing. Few hours later my nanu left this world proving the words "Kal ho na Ho". After that day, for years I avoided listening to this song but now I realised this song makes me relive his last moments. Even today whenever I hear this song, I am reminded of him. In the serial, the actress came back to life later but my grandfather didn't. He was an incredible person and I am happy that he was fit and healthy when he left us, he'll always remain the person I love the most and he'll always be my idol in life coz he was an incredible personality, the most intelligent person I've known and a loving family man: all in one, I am proud to be his granddaughter.

@@rahulsalhotra6863 The music for the title song, "Kal Ho Naa Ho", was composed by Loy Mendonsa, while he and Advani were at a German Bakery in Pune. Advani wanted a song thematically similar to Celine Dion's 1997 recording of "My Heart Will Go On", which he was humming at the time. When he heard it, Mendonsa came up with the tune and recorded it on his phone. After Shankar Mahadevan and Ehsaan Noorani listened to it, the trio composed the song.
The song was made way ahead of time... And in today's time everyone can feel and already have experienced this song....because in today's world everyone expects love and loyalty but no one is ready to be the one 😢

I remember me and my dad watched this movie when i was young,it didn't give a tear,i just felt sad.
Today,my aunt asked me to put a movie,and i deliberately put it. I said i closed my eyes and choose that one without knowing,but i didn't.
Then at the end,when Sharukh (Aman) was dying,i started crying. My dad passed away on december,and i couldn't do anything but start crying after Aman started singing "Kal ho naa ho".
I couldn't see my dad the day he died,i got told at night and i suppose days after that. The end,where they all said their goodbyes,just made me wanting to talk to him even more,atleast to tell him "Bye,dad,i will miss you,i love you,thank you for taking care of me all these years". I didn't even know he was dying,i thought he would get well soon and i would see him after quarantine,as he promised one day,,
I started sobbing,i never had sobbed with a movie,i shed some tears sometimes,very rarely,but sobbing? Nah,no movie did that to me. But this time,i could recognize how they felt,the pain after knowing you won't be able to say "Hey! How are you doing?" "I love you" to that person,you won't be able to hug that person anymore,hear them talk,
I am getting too emotional,but,this movie is the only that has made me sob over a fictional story. And even over a real,even if it isn't.
