Calling all Steam Buffs! This video is definitely for you! These kinds of trains are the ones that we always look forward to seeing trackside: Steam Trains! Why are these my favorite? It’s the man power machine and uniqueness of how these engines run along the rails. Just like diesels, they all have a different style, story, and character. So far, I’ve seen a total of 14 steam locomotives. See Midwest favorites such as Frisco 1630, Milwaukee Road 261, and Pere Marquette 1225 run along the tracks. Plus don’t forget about SOO Line 1003, Union Pacific 844, Iowa Interstate 6988, Pere Marquette 1225, and Union Pacific Big Boy 4014. We hope you’re staying safe during the COVID-19 outbreak and we can return trackside soon. Coming up is a short Metra Tribute video inspired by Railroad Productions. Enjoy the variety of steam locomotives seen in the video!

At random points in the day in my head I will just think of steam train whistles. Idk why, but it helps me stay calm.
amazing and cool trains
Great video as always. I have a soft spot in my heart for steam trains.
Southern 2-8-0 Consolidaition Type Locomotive #630: The King of The New Era! Just Beginning!
Nice Video
Great compilation man. Hope you are staying safe in all this. Love all the shots of 4014 and 261 and 1225 and honestly all of them hahaha, but those are my top 3 in this video. I need to make it to Monticello before 401 goes down.
Thanks a lot, fellas! Hope you’re staying healthy as well. -Andrew Mangalindan

Thank you!
A-Train4014 Productions No problem!
Well done. Thank you. Reminds me of passenger train cars that I rode in the 1960's.
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed the video!
I think Frisco 1630 is one of the best steam locos I’ve seen besides daylight 4449 and 4014
21:40, that's at the Hesston Steam Museum near LaPorte Indiana. I was there in the early 90s, I was about 5 or 6 years old! They have all kinds of cool stuff in there, and trains of all sizes to ride on, from narrow to standard gauge. I think I rode all of them that day... It's been a pretty good amount of time since I was there, but, if anyone is in the Berrien County Michigan, LaPorte County Indiana area, give that place a visit, it's right on the state line and has a lot of good stuff in it!
LOOK GOOD
Thank you!
Great video of steam engines Andrew! I loved watching this video! Thank you for putting this video together and sharing it with us!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video!

That J. Neils Lumber Co. locomotive #5 has to be one of the most interesting steam locomotives I’ve ever seen. The way it operates is like nothing I’ve seen before.
