Absolutely correct sentences .
Main sentence: "He told everything to the police lest he might be arrested."
Dear Sir,
I hope you are well. I am confused about the past tense. Would it be right or wrong if I make it in this way as per the "might have" rule above the sentence that has been written by you?
"He told everything about the matter to the police lest he might have been arrested."
Please reply, Sir. Thanks in advance.

1. "He told everything about the matter to the police lest he might have been arrested."
2. "He told everything about the matter to the police so that he might not have been arrested."
Please reply, Sir. Thanks in advance.
This is a present subjunctive mood . So the ' might have been ' will be incorrect .
You are a excellent teacher ❤
