FIRST!!!!! Great tutorial bud! I use the fisherman's knot a lot. and now I know a different variation. In fact it is probably in my top 5 most used. Clove hitch, Rolling hitch, Evenk Hitch, Fisherman's Knot and self rescue. All time favs! UT
thanks for showing how and if you can give more examples of how to use them it will be more clear in case of need, so the visual sets in the mind and one can adapt to the particular circumstances. so, again, examples would be really great.
tying together the ends of two ropes is an obvious use implicit in the very nature of the knot; he has also mentioned that this is the first step in tying a prusik knot (a friction hitch), so you can research at your leisure
You used"Double Fisherman’s Knot" in your title, but it looks like the "Fisherman's Knot" I see in a lot of other videos. Is there any difference in the two?
Too much hand movement.. Making it confusing...just do what your suppose to do..u said the multicolored roped makes it harder to see the seated knot..u said u would redo with different rope...and u use a black cord against a black background....brilliant....lmao
Really well explained. Thank you!

I wish you would go into the uses of each knot, and the pros and cons.

if I may ask.....is the double a combination of single-looping for the LHS and a double-looping for the RHS?
Missing your gear reviews
I'll show how to tie using no cordage , thank me later .

yep black on black...we saw nothing of the x
why even the multi coloured was difficult to see as u said yourself
stop flipping it around and moving your hands so much, just show how to tie it...
he could eliminate half of the hand movements and half the words, and the explanation would be much clearer.
Terrible rope color choice what you use, try orange next time;)
