The ending was perfect as it close a chapter to not only Devi’s story but all the characters in the show. I can’t believe how far they have come from beginning of this show to the end. I’m going to miss show but hopefully there will be spin-off in the future.

I don't like Paxton's ending. He went from being the hot guy who was popular to someone who actually cared about school. I was really impressed by his character's growth at that point. Then he broke up with Devi, without putting any effort into saving their relationship. Then he goes to College, doesn't like it and drops out after two weeks, which really disappointed me, cause I thought he had grown past that. When he does come back, he's no longer cool, just some loser and rightly so. I had hope he and Devi might give their relationship another go, but nope. At the end, he's dating Lindsay, the SUBSTITUTE TEACHER !! Some might say he got a good ending, but for me who saw he grew during Season 2 and 3, it felt regressive and sad to watch him go through that. The show is over and it's done, just feel he deserved better than that. Team Paxton forever ☝️❤️

Jaren Lewison says that the love confession scene (and the ensuing few scenes) is one of his proudest accomplishments in his career to date, and we could see just how much in this video. He really knocked it out of the park this season, especially in this finale. Can’t wait to see where he takes his career next.
I think it'd be too much like the Joey from friends spinoff. Joey was a great character when he was surrounded by all the other friends characters, but on his own it flopped. I think Trent would be the same.
I immediately started sobbing when Ben showed up at the wedding. It was just the most beautiful ending. The finale was perfect. I'm happy to see the cast is so proud of their work and of this show, as they should be.
This show has done everything right. The writing, the casting, everyone felt comfortable in the production and they even had a nice ending. Not overdone. Not ended too early. Lots of inclusivity, lots of the show not taking it self too seriously but serious when it had to. Perfectly done. Kudos to the whole crew.

There are no other words then to just say i cried. For the first time ever i cried over a show. And i am so happy it was this show i sobbed over for 30 minutes straight. Absolutely love this cast show, and everything else about it. ❤
My mother started watching this I think a year ago and I was hooked once I watched it with her. The final season was so good and the finale was good and I’m glad Ben and Devi ended up together finally.
I genuinely live for those expressions in the entire series!!! Their expressions are wholesome and I can't stop re-watching the reactions of the "characters" on few of those touchy moments. THIS IS LEGIT THE BEST SERIES I HAVE EVER WATCHED!!! I love each and every character. Whether its her family, her therapist, her friends, her exes, her forever bf, her teachers and even her frenemies who eventually became real good friends like Aneesa...I am so attached to the characters! For example, in season 2, when Ben finally forgives Devi after the apology to Aneesa, I *CRIED*. I mean, the moment when they finally act like friends and start laughing! But then when Ben says that he could finally get together with Aneesa, I was like, "I wasted my precious tears!" hehe...just because I am so attached, I always wanted them to be together no matter what. I got the feeling. Enemies to lovers is so favorite trope! (p.s. I really wish that Maitreyi and Jaren reads this comment, Netflix!) Adios!

soooooooo bittersweet watching the ending of NHIE :'( i loved this show more than words and every time i try to explain this show to recommend to someone, i fumble, but i just tell them to WATCH IT!!! no regrets at all, so much laughter and crying over the years. i can say this is one of the best shows of my life, as someone who has terrible attention span and it's a feat for me to finish a series. i really will miss this entire cast together, and i hope they'll continue to give us more and more behind the scenes stuff because i don't want to let go yet
