I live across the street from Zoo World and love it. We’ve been to Zoo’s all over the country and this is the cutest Zoo we’ve visited. It’s clean and they have a washing station after your done with the petting part of the zoo. The exhibits are always being worked on… we love it so much we bought a membership.
Ya'll might wanna scoot a little east to Fort Walton. The beaches are less crowded, you are 10 minutes from Destin, which is not quite as big but still fun. Go off season though. September is your best bet! Stay safe.
We live nearby in Dothan and go all the time to PCB. Sometimes for the day or weekend. Just got back last week and would also recommend renting a boat and going to shell island. The family had fun. Going for another week next month.

We planned to go this weekend and now im changing my mind. I'm told everyone still on Spring Break. My wife in a wheelchair and she doesn't like the huge crowds.
Our entire family is going In June also, my mom is in a wheelchair and has never seen the beach, my dad either and they’re both over 50! Finally I can take them, I will be renting a sand wheelchair for my mom so she can really get to experience the beach. I have been a few times and I have always loved it, I can’t wait!

I would recommend camp Helen state park and lake Powell. It’s on the west end. One of the biggest coastal dune lakes in the world and tons of sand dunes and some trails to walk and kayak launch. And maybe grab some back beach bbq on the way back! I’m local and that’s a trip I often take

@@jodiutley7292 in my opinion calypso and tidewater are the nicest resorts on the beach and they’re both close to senior frogs. There’s a new resort on the beach by pier park also, I think either a holiday inn or Hilton, not 100% sure cuz I moved to Cape Coral in January but it was finished when I visited pcb 2 months ago and looks pretty nice

Every summer me and my family always like to go to Panama City. We go to restaurants, play at the beach, go shopping and go to the Panama City Pier Park.
We definitely need another HUGE amusement park in Panama City Beach. Ever since they closed Miracle Strip in 2004 it basically killed the beach. Nothing to really do down there anymore 😔
You need to check out Kartona, hands down the best place to race. Electric Karts fly! Fastest racer of the day I have been many times. Definitely addicting lol. My family lives in Panama City FL
My dad is from there so me and my family go in the summer usually we Ard gonna go in a few days but my favorite thing there is either wonder works building or go karting
100% recommend wicked wheel! Not touristy and we go at least twice every time we vacation in pcb! Also, hang 5 is newer and soooooo good! Their food and service is to die for!
April Gosnell Salt Water Grill,Dat Cajun,Bayou on the Beach and Shrimp Basket ,Montego Bay,Fire Fly,Schooners and for a really good meal that will cost you a couple of bucks try Captain Anderson’s if your renting a place with a kitchen and like to cook check out Buddy Gandys seafood mart on 98 also if you like shopping go to Pier Park.

Clearwater and Panama City are my Top choices as of right now. I'm thinking of stoping by both cities. I've already went to Clearwater (amazing city, beautiful beach). Kolache = Khol -ah - chee (it is a Czech food famous in Texas [every doughnut shop has them] & Nebraska) However real kolaches do not have meat, just fruit. With meat it is called a klobasnek and they come highly recommended.
I don't know when you recorded Paula Dean's restaurant, but they opened and then one morning the Employees showed up for work started to prepare everything within the building and then management showed up and said everybody needs to get out they shut the door and put up a sign saying they were closed for good. Side note they won't let you take home to go boxes and considering its family style dining… they literally wasted so much food.
Hopefully you are aware of Bernie Thompson and his channel and what the City is planning to do with Lullwater.....not good for tourism if the water turns brown

Awesome video, and timely. Our Cruise was cancelled, and avoiding the theme parks right now, and was actually considering Panama City beach for some social distancing.
If you come here should try Boondocks restaurant they have a beautiful waterfront restaurant you can ride on a airboat also they have the best seafood!
As a Panama City Beach resident, I would strongly advise that you actually wait until COVID-19 calms down before you come here. Our cases have been spiking like crazy, and most of those cases are from the residents that live around here.
My son and his friends preferred Panama City Beach from middle school and all through high school. There’s a vibrant young energy there. There’s plenty to do to keep them and you Happy. Pier park alone has plenty to do. Destin is also great but we like it when we can go there on a couples vacation at Baytowne wharf. Enjoy!
I just went there last week. And it was quite a fun place. Thanks to this video, I would be able to arrange what I would do. Unfortunately, I didn’t make to Swampy Jack’s. I wanted to go, but we didn’t have the time. The main reason I have planned this trip after Orlando, St Augustine and Key West is because I am a Ripley fan myself and I want to visit every single one of the Odditoriums in the world. It ain’t the best one, but is still a really fun odditorium. If you ask me, I only went to five so far and my favorite was the one in Gatlinburg. And spending some of my work money on this vacation was actually worth it.

Love the Swamp Ape. Reminds me of a indoor Himilaya I rode once at Knoebels. Adding things like theming/music/fog machines/etc REALLY takes these generic flat rides to another level...
Nice video! Next month I’ll be taking a trip to Gulf Shores from Springfield, Missouri. I’ll be hitting up Alabama Adventure on the way down, I’ll be going to The Park at Owa while in Gulf Shores, and then I’m going to take a day or two to go to Panama City Beach and hit up some of those attractions. I’m most excited for Swampy Jacks. Del Lee is the one who owns the park. He leased the land out to Miracle Strip at Pier Park, but they failed to pay rent and closed. After they moved everything out, he decided that he could build a theme park himself, and he started construction on that new park in the beginning of 2017! All that time really shows with the attention to detail!
Gulfshores is much favorite vacation spot! I try to visit at least once a year! The Sea and Suds Restraunt on the beach is my favorite! You will definitely enjoy! My family and I prefer Waterville USA over the OWA Amusement Park but its still all fun in the sun!

I went there for the first time back in early March right before the quarentine started... We didn't do that much just relaxed at our hotel and went to that outdoor shopping plaza

Destin is for a old, retired, or couple's trip. If ur taking ur family including kids Panama would be more befitting.
We live very close to PCB and go to destin quite often, definitely recommend PCB they have so much to do compared to destin.

Love the Swamp Ape. Reminds me of a indoor Himilaya I rode once at Knoebels. Adding things like theming/music/fog machines/etc REALLY takes these generic flat rides to another level...

Nice video! Next month I’ll be taking a trip to Gulf Shores from Springfield, Missouri. I’ll be hitting up Alabama Adventure on the way down, I’ll be going to The Park at Owa while in Gulf Shores, and then I’m going to take a day or two to go to Panama City Beach and hit up some of those attractions. I’m most excited for Swampy Jacks. Del Lee is the one who owns the park. He leased the land out to Miracle Strip at Pier Park, but they failed to pay rent and closed. After they moved everything out, he decided that he could build a theme park himself, and he started construction on that new park in the beginning of 2017! All that time really shows with the attention to detail!
I live near Gulf Shores if you have any questions. It is super crowded right now but not much at OWA.
Gulfshores is much favorite vacation spot! I try to visit at least once a year! The Sea and Suds Restraunt on the beach is my favorite! You will definitely enjoy! My family and I prefer Waterville USA over the OWA Amusement Park but its still all fun in the sun!
