    Will it still work for our photo? Ours is more of a tall photo instead of a wide one and it's hard to get it in shape. We want to make the texture match the dimensions of our photo, but don't know how.

    • @BLTV_Photoshop
      @BLTV_Photoshop  Год назад

      The aspect ratio of the photo doesn't matter. If the resolution is larger or smaller, some of the filter setting amounts need to be higher or lower.

    I got probably a stupid question i want to see if i can get an answer to....im working on a project im trying to use 90's era animated western characters,i want to do the spaghetti western movie poster style....i figured this would get me about what i wanted,but its not turning out right....i want to know if there's a video that someone can point me towards that will help,or tell me something i can do to the image before hand to get the video effect to work better

    • @BLTV_Photoshop
      @BLTV_Photoshop  3 года назад

      One would have to inspect your PSD to determine the source of the problem(s).

      @@BLTV_Photoshop yeah i dig that,i was manly trying to get some basic this is know to cause problems suggestions....im trying to work with images of anthropomorphic characters from a 90's kids show so not the most detailed to begin with and my copies may not be the best examples of them...i did how ever attempt to sharpen the starting image as much as i could and used your steps again,but i adjusted the unsharp mask a little more and lowered the opacity on the noise layer and it looks a little better
      If you take suggestions on tutorials to do though....id suggest doing at least one on getting the spaghetti western movie poster style,because apparently no one else has and i cant be the only one looking for some pointers to get that look

    Hi Marty.. why my PS doesn't support Oil Paint effect , when i click oil paint error window appairs the problem linked to my graphics card and i am using 2 GB of Nvidia geforce gt 710 which it doesn't support openCl however the options or the effect of oil paint is clickable.

  • @lyndabond1570
    @lyndabond1570 6 лет назад

    This was greatly appreciated! I’d tried to address this ( similar to this) in a question a viewer asked on pixels in your earlier live feed. I have a question for you. Why are you using the settings radios 3 pixels? Also oil paint- why a 2 brush stylization? I’m curious if you’d found this works best or a personal choice. Thank you so very much !

    • @BLTV_Photoshop
      @BLTV_Photoshop  6 лет назад +1

      I assume your question about "the settings radios 3 pixels", is for the "Unsharp Mask" filter. The settings I used for this filter, as well as for the oil paint filter, is based on this photo's amount of original detail, as well as its size & resolution. As I mentioned in the video, feel free to experiment with the amount settings in each filter for your photo.

      Це може допомогти, якщо ви використовуєте субтитри. Вони не ідеальні, але багато чого все одно зрозуміло. Натисніть піктограму "CC" внизу, праворуч від відео, а потім натисніть "Ukrainian".
