    -
Multiple communities across South Florida - including the Miami and Fort Lauderdale areas - flooded Wednesday amid bouts of torrential rain that prompted the state’s governor to declare an emergency and stranded drivers across the region.
Flood warnings are in effect Wednesday night for parts of Broward, Miami-Dade, Collier and Hendry counties through Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service, which warned “life-threatening flooding” was ongoing. Flood watches were also extended for Miami and Fort Lauderdale until Friday evening.
“Many areas are inundated with water w/ stalled cars & more rainfall is on the way,” the weather service said Wednesday night. “Stay off the roadways if possible.”

@@wolferson14 if they were running a stop signs during the flooding that I can understand because they probably didn't want to stop and then end up flooding the engine. Maybe that was the reason for all the honking to keep people moving.

One of the problems there is there is no High Ground to park your vehicle. But if I did live there I would buy ramps to put my car up on.

People Florida is At sea level 😂. Even heading inland is not much better because it's former Swamp land.
You have to head to North Florida and away from the coast like Zephyrhills, Ocala ,Gainesville or just leave the whole state 😂.
