You should do what feels best for you, whatever that may be! We can all get inspired by seeing what other people do in these times, but what works for someone else to feel better doesn’t have to be the exact activity that will make you feel better at this moment. If you want to watch Netflix the whole day or do a 5 k every day or everything in between, that’s totally ok! 🌸❤️ I myself am in this ‘everything in between area’ of doing nothing today and tomorrow but then run a 5 k for 3 days straight. For me it’s all about balance! 🙏🏼 Have a lovely evening!

Yes! I moved from Germany to Switzerland a few years ago, and went from knowing German and a bit of English to knowing German, English, French, Italian and Latin (you are required to take at least two 'national' languages at school for multiple years). Sadly, they're changing the curriculum in grammar schools so as to give mathematics and natural sciences more lesson time, and (myself included) not all students always appreciate learning about, say, the intricacies of French grammar.I still hope that the idiosyncratic linguistic set-up in Switzerland won't disappear altogether, it's kind of cool that things like food labels, our government's website etc. are all in various languages.

I thought your conversation with your mum was amazing. Dutch is a really hard language to learn and speak fluently. My situation is literally the opposite - my mum is a Belgian (Flemish) and my dad is English and I grew up in Antwerp, Belgium. So Dutch was my day-to-day language and we only spoke English when my dad was at home (he worked abroad a lot). But I am glad my mum made us read in English etc, because I suck at learning languages (I do not have a lingistically inclined brain) but because of how we predominantly watched English programmes and read in English, I would considered myself bilingual. I think it is amazing how well you progressed in just a week!
