For me Partey slows down the Right side, it's not that he is playing bad, it's just that he doesn't know what to do in those positions yet. He takes an extra second to make a pass, by then the opp has already closed any gap we created by a quick switch to saka. I feel he is much more useful at 6 or even 8.
MLS was top today at LB, I have no fears of him starting in any game from today onwards.
Rice needs to be in the 6 for as long as Gabriel is out, I feel it just gives the back line a bit more protection, allowing us to be more adventurous in attack.,

I will add that Partey has scored two brilliant and important league goals this season.
He was immense against City, Sporting and several other games but there's always an effort to ignore this and downplay his contribution.

Jess, you sure MLS just back from injury would've been an absolute perfect choice against Adama Traore at Fulham 🤔

I would respect Jess more if she took her own advice. She defends her favourite players to the hilt and always gives ample context when they play badly.
On the other hand though, she is always ready to pounce on Partey who she clearly hates.
Partey is a technical, press resistant baller. Our best midfielder this season.
Because he is required to control and progress, it is possible that he may give the ball away a few times.
Even when he plays as a right back he is never anywhere as bad as people say.
Jess had pushed the lie that we are conceding more this season because Partey is in the 6 yet ignores bad games we've had when Partey isn't in the 6.
She tries to switch the blame to right back when Partey is there.
I watch Partey dribbling his way out of danger and pinging the ball forward which are essential skills in Europe but you have the likes of Jess laser focused on any small misplaced pass he makes.
    It's a joke😂😂

Rice is a 6, his natural position. Mikel is treating this team like a chemistry set from a toyshop & baffling everyone. Timber, natural position RB, puts him left, Partey (who's playing for a new contract BTW) natural position DM, puts him RB. He Keeps moving players around so we're constantly starting again every time. It's annoying as hell. BTW, Sterling? WTF's going on there? Ethan? Mikel is trying so hard to be a unique special coach but he's F-ing up our title chances. Martinelli? Jesus >1 goal in 32 against PRESTON. Mikel's not a manager he's a baby minder patting these players on the head & telling them to go out & play. They miss behave, come back in the dressing room with no accountability. GET MIKEL THE HELL OUT OF THIS CLUB. IT'S NOT A PLAYSCHOOL
