I agree with that! I have found however that actually stopping and assessing the route I will take has immensely dropped the number of falls I have been taking lately. This seems to compensates for the unknown trail and turn it into one you are familiar with. I personally fall a lot less on trails I ride often. With that said, I HATE RIDING EXPOSURE!!! I only do it when I have to.

All the stoping and starting makes me nerves, that’s usually when they tip the bike over and fall and that’s a fall that will last a long time
