But in an Asian context or should I say Filipino context, coconut is a staple, a symbol of tropical habitat of mostly southeast asians. It's a pride, an identity more than just a food because it represents resiliency and resourcefulness of Filipinos. I mean , I don't feel offended but the way the Westerners see everything in a "sexual" context for normal things is quite off.
