To be fair, there are lots of technical/proggy bands out there where one should/needs to listen to each member induvidually to fully appreciate what's happening musically. But a lot of them can't write SONGS (Champ pointed this out explicitly in one of his first reactions) that even non- musicians appreciate without even understanding _why_ .... and the reason IMO is the arrangement and song structure. The Maids fire on all cylinders.
It wasn't your first reaction to Band-Maid, but this is the one that started all and change your life forever... who could imagine that a group of Japanese ladies dressed as maids would have such an impact on the lives of people living on the other side of the world?, this band is something else I can't help but smile everytime i watch this video because it's quite clear that this was love at first listen, and most B-M fans can relate to that feeling 😆
And that bird po pigeon girl person with the funny guitar is really cute and the scary ice coffee girl with the legs that reach all the way down to the ground can really sing too! This brings back memories when I didn't know their names either! 🤣😂😜

MISA is the bass player of cool bass lines, damn she's good. She's my favorite bass player as well, before it used to be John Myung of Dream Theater. I play my basses with new inspration from listening to MISA 🙂
