Love your vids, Owen and have been a subscriber for awhile One question: Around the 28:00 mark you bailed from the intermodal cover and opted for a low gondola and again at 42:00 when you hit Centralia, Illinois. You know as well as I do that gondolas are full of wood & metal debris that can hurt you and gondolas offer no cover whatsoever. Did you take the gondola because there were no covered hoppers, intermodals or an open box car nearby or another reason?
On that day in Memphis I couldn't stand the idea of having to lay curled up in the hole of that ACF grainer so having to hug the wall of a gondola and stay aware of passing trains didn't seem like a bad trade off as long as I was able to stretch out.
Im from New Zealand lol USA is so vast seems just endless ,even how long the trains are over there is mind boggling ,great channel and i get to see the USA from the comfort of my Futon
Watching a lot of your videos over and over again, I love how you shoot the different angles and from different positions. Personally, I also like that you don't try to talk and run a commentary and just let the vision and experiences speak for themselves.
Understand about your shock in the temperature change. One day last week I was checking the weather, and it was 80 in New Orleans & 39 in Chicago. For a trip that's not so terribly long (900 miles?), the temperature change can be extreme.
Love it when you travel through my home state of Mississippi. You came through my hometown of Forest on the Meridian Speedway. Love the vids!! Stay safe and keep 'em coming.
I just watched this video, July 18, 2024 at 1:06 pm. I have been watching your vids for 2 years now. Awesomeness on the go! It would be awesome to catch up with you in person on your next run through!
I just recently did this same trip myself, except I rode a GM out of Baton Rouge to Jackson and switched trains. I got screwed in Memphis because I didn't know they take the power off and leave the train on a bypass track, but none-the-less, I still made it back to Chicago.
it sucks that you have to censor certian things, like catching on the fly, just because RUclips get offended over it and thinks people are too sensitive to watch that kind of stuff. Your video rock man, I hope RUclips doesn't mess with your stuff any further. BTW, this is completley unrelated, but what ever happened to that video you made forever ago where you rode the CSX I95 corridor the full length from North to South?
The CSX I95 video was deleted by RUclips with the rest of my videos but it will be re-uploaded as soon as I reach that point of the 2018 series. Next up is the Peavine video.
I’ve heard that Rumble is an excellent alternative to YT because for the most part don’t give af about what videos you post and they pay more. Take care bud
@@rooar2 I was wandering why the black out and why the subscribers where less, now I know the story. You do outstanding videos, keep up with the awesome work!!!!

Greenings from Chicago and I already put my like 👍
Great idea to cover the boarding/disembark
I rode that train from Chicago to New Orleans. I tried to blow it in Memphis, then again in Jackson before finally making it. Thanks for posting it.

Amazing quality videos, don't know how you can spot the rides you want...

Where did the Mexico videos go?
I want them back!!
I’d like to go with you! I live near GTW Blue Island Tower. Great video which camera do you use it has amazing picture quality 😊
May you some day be able to afford a bus ticket!
Although the train is a cooler way to get around 😎

Do you have a merchandise page?
Illinois central
Monday morning rail
Love railing north. What happened to the main account did it get delete?
Why are the boardings being blacked out?
RUclips deletes the videos otherwise

Definitely not breaking any speed records for an IM.
Why do they keep deleting your videos?
I mean seriously?
WTF???

Do whatever you need to do to stay on RUclips.
Blacking out the screen showing you getting off and on is gay. thumbs down
Tell that to RUclips so they'll stop deleting my videos when I leave those scenes in.
