Laius learned to be humble despite his acknowledgeable skill. He learned that being the best was not the point of his life. His smile was very contagious, his laugh lightened every heavy atmosphere. So he stopped climbing the ladder to make true friends, and he made many. With Laius making friends it was inevitable for him to find things more than friendship. And he did, although unlike every story you've ever read, Laius was charming and smart, the girl he liked already liked him before he even noticed her. Although like most stories you've read, they were quite the opposite of each other. The girl, Heona, was a very shy girl, she couldn't bring herself to speak up around an people. Despite this she loved dancing and music, which Laius noticed. When they finally got together, Laius would keep that in his mind for a long time. They were happy, but of course, until most off the friends Heona was depending on chose a different path. Leaving her alone, or so she thought. She was busy thinking about the people who left, and forgot who stayed. She became cold to the rest of her second family, including Laius. She thought that if she walked the cold hearted path, it would make her stronger, it would save her the pain of being left again. Laius already knew that, but he was not wise enough as he supported her, all the way through. Until no one could've ever reached her. Laius only wanted for her to find her strength, but along the cold dark, he lost his. He broke and his spirit froze. And from the frozen further, Heona realized there was no one pushing her anymore, that it was getting colder. It was because Laius kept the suffer of the cold to himself. She came back for him, without realizing that her path to be strong on her own and independent, depended on Laius. She asked for forgiveness, but Laius didn't have to forgive her. He told her "For I have loved you since the beginning, I have already forgiven all the misgivings you committed and shall ever do so in the future". He explained that even the Son of man came to serve and not to be served, and that he was also in that relationship with her to serve and not be served. For a long time this cycle repeated. Her misgivings didn't matter, yet Laius didn't mind kneeling down in front of her whenever he did even the tiniest mistakes. She made him remorse it, she made him beg for him to even look her in the eye. Somewhere along the path, she realized that Laius was always better than her, in everyway, the only way she saw it was to keep him the closest. Because who do you keep closer than friends, right? But Laius worked subtly and silently to bring out her potential. The longer they were together, the more confidence Heona's character gained, the more the image of Laius became dirtier to all their friends and the more exhausted he became. Too long, for too long in fact, that this became his everyday reason to wake up and sleep sound at night. He turned a blind eye to everyone's doubt and suspicion towards her. The guilt never came for her whenever she told everyone stories of the disgusting ways Laius treated her. Finally, Laius' family broke, his sister became so disrespectful towards her mom and drove everyone apart to take sides. But not Laius, he chose to stay in the middle. This fight drove everyone in his family to squandered the bonds, the trust and everything else that was built over time. But staying in the middle, he takes the most bullets, and his already drained state was even more crunched. He had spent all his time focusing on his beloved and had not foreseen such trouble to come, had spent all and left nothing for himself. Nothing in fact that it ate him, down to his roots and foundations of his character turned gray. It killed him to suffer in his real family and his other romantic family. It killed him, so much that it didn't matter if something really did kill him. But he looked forward in his life, what more is there, but also death. He looked up to see the dark skies and looked down from the tower to see the dark end. First he must say his goodbyes, and so he did. He teared up in front of her to say his plan and reason, Heona looked him in the eyes, emotionless, told him that she understood. She proceeds to break up with him and leave, unscarred, untouched and unscathed. Shattered in his heart, he died that instant. I am but a romantic and cannot write the poem of his pain to learn that he couldn't lean on the person he trusted the most in the entire world. And that he's most trusted would leave him to die. Again he looked up to see the dark skies and looked down from the tower to see his dark end. But Laius' mind wouldn't let him rest without learning reasons, he would come to find himself chasing the answers, which he will never find. Heona finally learned to dance in front of the crowd, and Laius. . . Laius suffered the rest of his waking days dead inside, never being able to fix his family, never finding the answers and never smiled again.

For a long time this cycle repeated. Her misgivings didn't matter, yet Laius didn't mind kneeling down in front of her whenever he did even the tiniest mistakes. She made him remorse it, she made him beg for him to even look her in the eye. Somewhere along the path, she realized that Laius was always better than her, in everyway, the only way she saw it was to keep him the closest. Because who do you keep closer than friends, right? But Laius worked subtly and silently to bring out her potential. The longer they were together, the more confidence Heona's character gained, the more the image of Laius became dirtier to all their friends and the more exhausted he became. Too long, for too long in fact, that this became his everyday reason to wake up and sleep sound at night. He turned a blind eye to everyone's doubt and suspicion towards her. The guilt never came for her whenever she told everyone stories of the disgusting ways Laius treated her.
Finally, Laius' family broke, his sister became so disrespectful towards her mom and drove everyone apart to take sides. But not Laius, he chose to stay in the middle. This fight drove everyone in his family to squandered the bonds, the trust and everything else that was built over time. But staying in the middle, he takes the most bullets, and his already drained state was even more crunched. He had spent all his time focusing on his beloved and had not foreseen such trouble to come, had spent all and left nothing for himself. Nothing in fact that it ate him, down to his roots and foundations of his character turned gray. It killed him to suffer in his real family and his other romantic family. It killed him, so much that it didn't matter if something really did kill him. But he looked forward in his life, what more is there, but also death. He looked up to see the dark skies and looked down from the tower to see the dark end. First he must say his goodbyes, and so he did.
He teared up in front of her to say his plan and reason, Heona looked him in the eyes, emotionless, told him that she understood. She proceeds to break up with him and leave, unscarred, untouched and unscathed. Shattered in his heart, he died that instant. I am but a romantic and cannot write the poem of his pain to learn that he couldn't lean on the person he trusted the most in the entire world. And that he's most trusted would leave him to die.
Again he looked up to see the dark skies and looked down from the tower to see his dark end. But Laius' mind wouldn't let him rest without learning reasons, he would come to find himself chasing the answers, which he will never find.
Heona finally learned to dance in front of the crowd, and Laius. . .
Laius suffered the rest of his waking days dead inside, never being able to fix his family, never finding the answers and never smiled again.
