Kris and myself thank you for this Sunday Review and hope you have recovered from that searing wind. The turbines between Blackpool and the Isle of Man will have delivered a full charge to the National Grid. More than a bit parky at the top viewing level of the Tower!
The crystal shop shall be a magnet to us when we visit in a few weeks, that looks like a really well set up emporium with natural minerals as well as tumbled and polished wares.
We wish all the new businesses well. The main concern is the weather - it is the middle of June but it feels more like February, with so many new retailers an increased footfall is needed but there are so very few people about - even on a Saturday. There is so much investment in setting a shop up that this season might determine the future of so many businesses.
I am pleased to see the ramp being built, especially as this DWP build will be used for so much disability assessment. Perhaps this is for all claimants who are to be assessed as surely there shall be easy access at the main entrance also. We are glad to see the ramp aside of the restaurant at the Holiday Inn. As there is no proper tram shelter or seating [as I predicted] at the tram terminus; getting through intending passengers or youths 'hanging out' in the underpass will not be pleasant. At least there is better lighting in there than in the previous underpass. The covered tram shelter at the front of the North Pier seems to have gone but maybe not.
That yellow crane looks as tall as the Sky Flyer that has provided thrilling rides for tourists later in the year. It would be interesting to see the counterbalance system and the footing mechanism of that amazing piece of plant!

Hello Colin. Understandably you can't get the usual opening views of the sea and beach as you need to stay out of the rough winds. What an impressive shop Selenite is how he does well. Shame the Juniors Hot and Cold food shop had to close. So glad you have got your phone sorted out and they seem very friendly and helpful. The Suli grill looks quite amazing and a good menu too. Friday looks a bit calmer for you. Good progress at the W/P build and that crane is really massive. That grass needs cutting at the underpass. Did you know about the steam train visit to Blackpool North I think on July 3rd or 4th. It will be Sir Nigel Gresley. The coffee Americano is coming along very well. Good luck to them.
