The styles they've carried have evolved throughout the years but I know ladies want to see an up close of the differences between these two. This video is strictly showing the differences so you can make the best decision for you!

    Wait I am SO glad you posted this! I just started my wig journey this year and my first wig was from Tiffani. I suffer from Alopecia Areata with about 70% hair loss and it's currently buzzed. I have to say -- Wigs by Tiffani set the bar reeeeally high for every reason you mentioned: the natural hairline, the bleached knots, the nice partline. I also find the quality of the hair strands to be amazing. I've had very limited shedding compared to my other wig (Milano). I did buy a Highline wig but unfortunately the color wasn't right for me and I had to return. I thought the quality of the highline wig was also good, but the hair was a bit more fine than my natural hair was and it felt a little foreign to me personally. I find these two companies to be top of the line in terms of color, style and quality.

      I'm glad you loved your wbt! They are so good! It can be so tricky with color though 😆 I'm selling one of my Highline's only because the color looks bad on me. It occasionally happens!

      Is the hair thicker/coarser on WBT than Highline? I feel Highline’s is pretty thick as it is (hair strands not density).

    Definitely made sense to me. Thank you 🙏🏻 for making this comparison, I’ve always stayed away from WBT because of the price (mainly) and I was worried about shedding that I’ve seen from a lot of reviews. But I guess it is all about how we care for them/ wash/wear them also.
    Highline has been my favorite especially for summer the hair is so nice ,soft and lightweight but again I haven’t tried WBT. But thank you 🙏🏻 for showing us these small differences as they can make a difference in what we want /need in our pieces.

    Thank you so much Sarah for making this video! I’m new to alternative hair, and I have really been liking Highline wigs and wigs by Tiffani. I ordered a wig from both brands and saw the same differences and similarities that you talked about in the video. I really love the quality of hair, love the natural soft, black color and overall look of highline but found the M a smidge too tight. Now I know that I definitely have to keep my eye out for a highline wig in size large. Would love to see comparisons of other wig brands that fall into the same high quality of Highline and WBT. ❤️❤️❤️

Since I've never purchased a wig online, I love learning about the brands through videos like this. So maybe I'll be informed and confident enough to go for it one day. Based on this video, I'd definitely lean towards WBT to have a part and hairline that more closely mimic my previous own natural hairline, even if Highline is fuller and slightly cheaper.

    I do like the convenience of toppers. But I do find that Highline has more limited colors. I have not ever seen a lace front topper from Highline. I usually buy a 7x7 or 7x8 size. Im interested in buying a topper from Tiffany. The only issue is that hers are 10x10. I bought a 9x9 topper from Highline to see if I'd like the coverage. On my small head it would move around. Do you have any insight?

    I love this so much! Thank you, it’s so helpful. I’m new to full wigs, and it can be super confusing. I’ve worn Highline toppers for the past 3 years now and I’m never disappointed in Sharon’s hair quality. I’d love to see you review a Tresses By Jules and a Lu’s! I have a Tresses by Jules Velvet Luxe and the hair gets super dry and tangly. I’ve heard her Diamond line hair is amazing. Do you have experience with her wigs?

    @jj24241 8 месяцев назад +1

    I feel you made this for me lol! Thank you so much. I’ve been eyeing a few WBT and have tried Highline but it was too small. I’m a 22.5 circumference and thinking a L in Highline or M/L in WBT? I’d love to see a review of Tresses by Jules and Bijoux. Edited to say I’d also love to know which one is easier to run your fingers through if you were to flip your hair. I do that so much with my bio hair and wondering if wigs allow for this. ❤️🙏

    • @losinghair-notheartsarah3703
      @losinghair-notheartsarah3703  8 месяцев назад

      I would definitely say a large in Highline and M/L in WBT. The medium in Highline is snug on me and I'm a little less than 21.5. My WBT is slightly big for me so a M/L would be good for your head. I would say they are equal when it comes to running your hands through, especially since they have a similar cap style. It's very hard to do that with silk tops!

    Hi, thank you for this video! Super helpful. What did you think about the quality of the hair? Was one more brittle/soft/etc than the other? I bought a WBT Slavic wig recently and was extremely disappointed in the quality of hair after wearing the wig for only about a week. Do you have any experience with this on Highline? I am looking to buy a Highline one ideally.... Also I would be curious for you to include information about how easy it is to tuck the hair behind your ear? I did not find WBT easy to do that with. Was too much hair. Thanks! Also I wanted to say I love all your videos generally - I recently went from very long full head of hair (24") to nearly AU in about a three month span. It has been beyond hard. Your videos have been so helpful navigating the wig world for the first time!

    This was enlightening. It seems, from this comparison, that the WBT are more realistic or natural in appearance and that is important to me. That said, I think her prices are high, especially if these wigs are from Brazilian hair. I have a dozen premium human hair wigs purchased from a different source and they are less expensive but have a higher quality of hair. Still, I like Tiffani's pieces and when one comes up that really suits me, I will get one. Thank you!

    • @UESGrl21

      She does rec to trim it when you receive it because the hair is raw, uncut. It will have split ends. So to make it last longer, you’re supposed to give it a trim.

      These wigs are glueless however you absolutely can glue down the lace - and some people do on the sides. Because they have ear tabs it's more structured and not one of the typical wigs you see online being installed. Those wigs don't have as long of a shelf life & are created to be glued down. No one will know just by touching the head but if they start to poke their finger inside they will feel wefts.

    How does the hair quality and longevity compare with these two brands?

      Hair quality & longevity are very similar between both brands. They both use higher quality Brazilian hair and I'm going on 2 years with some of their wigs. WBT also has Slavic hair which is more expensive & a different lightweight feeling.

    My huge question… if you were going from a topper to a full wig for the very first time would you feel comfortable buying from either of these companies virtually? I’m terrified it won’t be personalized at all.

      Yes, because the buying process is not what it was 5 years ago. The community has grown so fast & you can easily go on Instagram & see hundreds of women wearing hair from them. Unfortunately, tons of women have reached out to me over the years because they went to someone who custom made a wig but they didn't end up loving it and then could never return it. And sometimes a custom made wig can be astronomical in price. You MIGHT end up returning a piece one time - and eating the restock fee - if you find out it's not your best size or color. I talk about it in my wig buying guide video but that's totally normal. And some brands you can ask for a certain cut on it before they end up shipping it you! I would say it's fairly common for women to personalize the wigs. However there are pieces I've owned that I absolutely loved from the moment I opened it.

    All of my tiffani wigs shed after a few months and the part just gets wider and wider :( i havent heard of anyone else having this issue but I own 4 of her pieces and its happened with them all

      I haven't experienced that but I would definitely reach out to them and see what they say! Some light shedding is normal but it shouldn't be too extreme.

    Great video! I have very thin natural hair & wonder if either company has low density wigs.

      Madison has a 110% density

      There is always the option to thin out the wig and have alot of bulk taken out. My red wig may look full but is unbelievably light. Madison wigs uses Mongolian hair and the pieces I had from her were typically thinner. On the budget side, I recommend Wigshe. I'm uploading a video soon but it's more affordable and has a low density option.

      @@losinghair-notheartsarah3703 i’ve had a few synthetics in the $400 dollar range, wanting to splurge on a human hair piece. So difficult deciding which brand will be most bang for your buck/beginner friendly!

    You definitely dont want a wig looking like it was stitched on a plastic doll in production. No one has a round hairline.

    Does companies bleach only the part line not the whole lace? I mean if I want to change the partline I have to bleach it myself?🥲

    • @losinghair-notheartsarah3703
      @losinghair-notheartsarah3703  8 месяцев назад

      Some companies bleach only the hairline by the forehead, others bleach the hairline + the partline where it's parted, and others bleach the hairline + the entire lace area. Personally I don't care as much about the partline since it's easily fixed with scar tape or makeup. The hairline is way more important to me!
