It's nice to hear Peach with new voice clips considering they always reuse old voice clips a lot for spin offs and you can't tell which ones are new anymore. Samantha Kelly re-recording her voice clips for Peach definitely makes her sound different, but she sounds more... relaxed(?) in the role and maybe a new voice director helped with voice direction. Samantha has been voicing Peach for 17 years now too. Congrats to her on that!
The truth is that Princess Peach animations are well defined and very fluid, not like her new voice clips, which fits like a glove for this great game and is a new fresh air for the princess herself, but that future Mario Party have other new voice clips and new animations
@@Nathan-fo4ux I loved the high-pitched voice, especially from the Mario Party 4-7 games. Jen really gave Peach her own voice, Sam to me sounds dull and a little deep for my liking

@@2000fiona Jen's peach always had personality. Her smash bros voice is way better than Sam's. She was literally the blueprint to how Sam voices peach. Its just my opinion, there's no need to be pressed about it.
@@2000fiona Thats not even fair to say because the only reason Sam had a shot was because she succesfuly voice matched Jen Taylor's voice when she started doing Peach. While through the years Sam had made Peach her own, the reality is Jen is the one that created the base of how Peach would continue to sound just like how Charles Martinet did with his characters and now Kevin Afghani is imitating his voices or how Deanna Mustard set the voice for Daisy and now Giselle Fernandez is sounding almost identical to what Deanna did. Jen Taylor set the bar for Peach, and people need to talk about that more.
Yeah im not the biggest fan of these voice clips, since they are from Mario Wonder and Peach sounds sooo ... Turned off in that game, like she is lacking energy. Idk if its because Sam is getting older too but the usual Peach energy is starting to fade away 😢 But good thing they also placed some familiar voice clips here and there in the mix
Tbh, the voice directing in Wonder sucked. Princess Peach Showtime has a LOT of voice lines for Peach, and she sounds... just a bit lower, but overall the same. Much better than Wonder.
