Hi Lizzie. I admire the heck out of you because of your self confidence and inner strength. I was born with my right eye turning inwards. It was operated on when I was 18 months old and it worked for a short while but reverted back to turning in. Since I started school at 5 the kids made me feel like I was a freak and wouldn’t play with me. All I can remember my whole entire school years until I grew up was my right eye was bigger than life and it was my whole identity. It was all I thought about and tried to hide it to the point I’d get headaches. I didn’t want to date because I never felt good enough. I was thin and pretty but I was a social mess. I felt like my eye was screaming to the world that I was defective. I’m 67 years old now and when I was 59 I got an operation to fix my eyes. It worked and I never felt so happy to look people in the eyes and not flinch and look down quick for fear they would discover my crossed eye and judge me. I wish I had loved and accepted myself like you Lizzie. I love your videos and I wish we could’ve been friends because you are so beautiful and down to earth. Never in a million years could I talk in front of a group let alone make a video. Thank you for inspiring me and so many others.
You are a true example of resilience and the power of having a positive mindset. Despite the challenges, you’ve turned your journey into a source of inspiration for many.
Up until recent years, I hated hearing about and seeing other people with conditions. It only reminded me of my own bullying and what they must go through. Your positivity and confidence inspire me as an adult, and I wonder if stories like yours would have helped me as a kid.
Hi Lizzie! I’ve been on your page for a long time. My condition is Type 1 diabetes. I’ve had it for 56 years. It’s an invisible disease. It’s really hard but I’ve had a good life in spite of it. I have several complications with it. One is gastroparesis. The nerves that help my stomach empty are damaged, so my stomach empties very slowly. I was recently diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy, the leading cause of blindness. Laser surgery helps you keep your sight. I wear an insulin pump and a Dexcom CGM (continuous glucose monitor). I just wanted to share to let you know I know what it’s like to live with a chronic illness. I have my times of grief and then I go on living my life. I enjoy all your posts. ❤️
I'm really sorry you had to face all that, and apologize on behalf of all those people. Please continue, you're awesome and thank you for being so kind.
I love lizzie Velasquez she's so sweet and such an inspiration. I am disabled and been through so much so I respect her in many ways. everyone should be kind to each other we are all different in our own way.
I think you are beautiful inside and out. My younger sister is in the NE Journal of Medicine as she has a still unknown autoimmune disorder that causes her body to attack itself and she has had organs removed, etc. your strength and positivity has helped her and me, and probably more people than you’ll ever know. So much love to you ❤❤❤
You are a beautiful light in this world young lady! Keep shining that gift of positivity to this world because it needs it SO much! GOD has blessed you with a caring and compassionate spirit and He is using you to show that beauty is in the heart! May GOD continue to use you in this manner and you feel His hand upon your life. Much love to you dear.🙏💖🥰

I love your feminine energy, you are so pretty and magnetic in a way I can't even put into words, the way you talk is just so real, kind and beautiful.
Thank you Lizzie! What an adorable baby you were! :) Your parents sound wonderful! love how your were dressed up all of the time. That is probably where you got your great fashion sense. And yes! You are very strong! I don't know why you'd be loosing blood... is there a vampire near by? :D (I'm watching the old 'Dark Shadows' series from the late 60's, so that's where my mind went! HA!) Glad you're on top of what to do and you have good doctors. Live your best life Lizzie! You are a joy!
The pure POWER that you put on display is absolutely inspiring. You're a HERO. The amount of difficulty you've indure & the strength of being here & talking about it ... I'm thrilled to be able to see the wonder woman of my time. God could give your parents a normal Child, but he decided to give them a symbol of power. You're amazing.

You are truly an inspiration. Amidst all the hate and vile you still shine brighter than everyone. All the lives you have touched must truly be innumerable. May you be forever blessed!
Lizzie do you know of anyone else that has this condition? I vote your condition be nick named the Lizzie Blessing. Because you are truely a blessing. Many many people are born with different and often challenging conditions. You are a wonderful inspiration. An over comer. With a beautiful shinning spirit. Keep shinning bright Lizzie.
I just learned today from your video that I have lipodystrophy, and it explains why I am the way I am. I was born with it. After 40 years , Lizzie, I'm finally feeling okay in my own skin, that for me is a massive win. I don't know if you can understand it or have a very different feeling on it , for yourself, but the problem I had and maybe you'd understand, is that in so many social situations in so many courses and parties and other things, when no one around you is like you, it feels very very isolating , like oh no one here would understand what its like to be me. And since working with the disabled, I see myself in so many of them and can relate to their experiences. But even if I feel okay being me, unfortunately it doesn't mean everyone else is okay with me. I dont know if you have any advice for me, but after all of your videos, you're just a stronger and much cooler person than I am, hopefully one day I'll be more like you
youre a very brave girl to put yourself out there we know many people will criticise the way you are different i see a beautiful soul and highly intelligent person keep your vlogs going your an inspiration to us all
It doesn't need a whole video to see the beauty in you, beautiful human being ❤️💜 Thank you for teaching us about your condition. You're brave! Wish you the bestest!
Lizzie, you hit the nail on the head!! I have Spina Bifida & hydrocephalus. I have also felt like a lab rat with all the testings, & the doctors wanted me to try new things before anyone else. One thing they wanted me to try was a hormone growth shot. This would have caused leukemia, hair loss. I told my doctor no, I wasn't going to go through it along with spina bifida & hydrocephalus. My doctor called me a Shrimp lol.
I don’t have a condition but the way you deal with everything is simply inspiring to me and I learned a lot watching you that motivates me in my Own life❤ Thank you
As always hearing your beautiful voice brings me joy! You are so true!! Real!! No fake like these modern women, that they are so superficial, material with no brain or feelings. We love you Lizzy the way you are. So brave and wonderfully brave. You are an inspiration, a gift from God. Keep smiling 😊❤
"they never asked God why" This resonated with me so much. I was so blessed to have parents who never ever questioned "why" God sent them a gay child. It's different. But it is also very the same. And I love that we both had that benefit in life. ❤
i am diagnosing you with extreme awesomeness
💜🎶💜🎶💜🎶💜🎶💜
