There was a theory a while back when the Prototype's hand first appeared in chapter 2, his claw was similar to Other mother or "The Beldam" from the movie Coraline, it was an entity that gave children false promises of what they want, when in actuality what it wanted was to trap their souls or to assimilate their flesh into it. Her design and lore is Very similar to the Prototype in that they are both skeletal spider like creatures, have needle like claws, cords going through their bodies, in this trailer both seem to have black eyes to go with a pale face with possibly a crack in it, have the ability to mimic the appearance or voice of their victims loved ones, and apparently don't want their followers to ever leave them and will kill them if they tried. On top of all that the Prototype's domain is similar to Other Mother's in which it's a place made to trap children (the orphans) claiming it to be a "paradise", that can also apply to the rest of Playtime Co. since the toys especially CatNap see the Prototype as a God that gave them a "paradise" and to other toys it's Hell. This could all very much be leading to a Coraline type story for chapter 5 which I'm kind of hyped to see.
I have this theory with that the boogie bot on 6:40 could be a boogie bot bigger body that was just meant to help out and may just be an entity and a helper to the prototype.

The claw/mechanical arm thing isnt just for restraining, i just noticed. It has a MASSIVE needle in the center with a mechanism that, if im reading it right, would pull the claws closed once the needle is deep enough in to push the center part down. Whatever its injecting, its mean to keep the injected creature from pulling themself off the needle. Yikes

The pirate location was also shown there , which did not appear in the latest update of the game . This location was shown as a mini-game station where Mama Long Legs hunted for colorful players, a similar location was also with Mama Long Legs, but was taken along with the engine mechanics from Dead By Daylight.
At the end of that one Poppy book that came out a while ago, it has an in character FAQ at the end, where it says the yellow hand dashes you forward. I swear I'm not hallucinating this.

i think poppy was firstly made for elliott because of his loss of the kid.his buero was really close to poppys room so he could always reach poppy.there was a vent that connected these two rooms too so the later version of elliot could still visit his "daughter"
My theory is this: 1006 is attempting to put Poppy back into a human body. I also think 1006 is dying and will attempt to take the player’s body for himself, essentially reversing both his and Poppy’s human deaths decades earlier. 1006 told Sawyer that “the situation necessitates it be done quickly.” He could be referring to his impending death. This lines up because Ludwig would want to be with Poppy in the end, which is why he might be planning to steal the player’s body-an orphan’s body may not be suitable for an experiment of his size. 1006 had many chances to kill the player but never did (such as during the deaths of 1222 and 1188). As for 1170 chasing the player, I think this has something to do with the player’s life during their employment at Playtime Co.; perhaps they helped create 1170. Now, I think Lily Love Braids is a pseudo-Poppy or a failed attempt at recreating her, and is an ally who will welcome Poppy with “love” at first, acting as a kind of older sister-only to slowly reveal her jealousy of Poppy over time, likely wanting to kill her because, despite having Lily, 1006 still wanted only Poppy.
So whose body is he going to use for poppy? And there’s nothing indicate the size of the toys is relevant to the body considering the toy bodies had children in them Edit: this also pretty much confirms that the prototype cared nothing about catnap at all, and he as just using him. The eyes are literally how plush toys eyes are in the inside and the fur strands are lined up where plush toys are typically sewed up. If you have ever sew or built a plush doll from scratch you can easily notice this. So the Prototype is likely trying to create new toys using dead bodies of already exsisting ones.

The pirate location was also shown there , which did not appear in the latest update of the game . This location was shown as a mini-game station where Mama Long Legs hunted for colorful players, a similar location was also with Mama Long Legs, but was taken along with the engine mechanics from Dead By Daylight.

At the end of that one Poppy book that came out a while ago, it has an in character FAQ at the end, where it says the yellow hand dashes you forward. I swear I'm not hallucinating this.
By the way, I'm pretty sure Playtime Automated Companion was already revealed to be what Sawyer was called by Playtime Co scientists in the Orientation Notebook. It was mentioned in Game Theory video. I could be wrong I don't own the book but that was said on Game Theory.

i think poppy was firstly made for elliott because of his loss of the kid.his buero was really close to poppys room so he could always reach poppy.there was a vent that connected these two rooms too so the later version of elliot could still visit his "daughter"
My theory is this: 1006 is attempting to put Poppy back into a human body. I also think 1006 is dying and will attempt to take the player’s body for himself, essentially reversing both his and Poppy’s human deaths decades earlier. 1006 told Sawyer that “the situation necessitates it be done quickly.” He could be referring to his impending death. This lines up because Ludwig would want to be with Poppy in the end, which is why he might be planning to steal the player’s body-an orphan’s body may not be suitable for an experiment of his size. 1006 had many chances to kill the player but never did (such as during the deaths of 1222 and 1188). As for 1170 chasing the player, I think this has something to do with the player’s life during their employment at Playtime Co.; perhaps they helped create 1170. Now, I think Lily Love Braids is a pseudo-Poppy or a failed attempt at recreating her, and is an ally who will welcome Poppy with “love” at first, acting as a kind of older sister-only to slowly reveal her jealousy of Poppy over time, likely wanting to kill her because, despite having Lily, 1006 still wanted only Poppy.
So whose body is he going to use for poppy? And there’s nothing indicate the size of the toys is relevant to the body considering the toy bodies had children in them
Edit: this also pretty much confirms that the prototype cared nothing about catnap at all, and he as just using him. Which begs the question as to why he didn’t just leave the child that became catnap behind in the first place to escape
Sheep just want to let you know that I’ve been following every Poppy video of yours since August of 2022 when I joined this amazing community with this game that has the most intriguing lore that’s taken over my life.
It’s so obvious, he’s using the children to create his own experiments and he’s trying to recreate Poppy.

IK WHAT IS 1202 now as a plush maker ir was easy for me to understand now the best hint is the eyes if u try to figure out what is that its a plastic eye nail used on toys also has the white plastic circle that helps holding it on the fabric now the eye is inside of the head in there also the red fur lines are in the sewing lines which tells inside of it is full of red furs since it looks like a critter its probably simon smoke or bobbybearhug we can see their color variants like a green one pink one for the fur lines theyr most likely going to be 1006s minions bc i saw 2 of them in the trailer one in the surgery table one on the ground so theres probably a main one of them whos exp number is 1202 bc multiple exps cant share one number also this number leads to the time when playtime co was working ig if it was the exp 1202 that we seen in the trailer it wouldnt even have an exp number since theres no more playtime co running the eye will eventually pop up if u search for plastic nail eyes for toys

7:15 if you look closely at the tool, it has a needle in the middle of the circle. We can see that it has three claw grasps on the side that can be used to hold/restrain something so I would assume that mechanism is actually meant to inject liquid into the patient in the chair.

or its called or its chummy chopkins since it has teeth but its just a theory
dont know if anyone noticed already but the new "smiling critter" type of creature is actually an inside-out reversed smiling critter. The eyes are literally how plush toys eyes are in the inside and the fur strands are lined up where plush toys are typically sewed up. If you have ever sew or built a plush doll from scratch you can easily notice this. So the Prototype is likely trying to create new toys using dead bodies of already exsisting ones.
