I think stuff like that happens to us darker skin women all over the world. I’ve seen vlog videos of black Americans in everywhere from Mexico to Russia to Europe to Asia & they always talk about how ppl either stare, ask for photos ( especially in Mexico & Russia or Eastern Europe or Asia), or say something like you’re pretty or look like Beyoncé and ask if you’re from Africa or ask where are you from. I think its ppl who don’t see many black ppl’s passive aggressive way of being curious lol.
