Thank you! I've had my soprano for a couple years and would like to do more with it. I mostly garment sew but would like to do more with the decorative stitches and such.
I appreciate a tutorial! I have no clue how to use that function. Yes my phone has been doing a lot of autocorrecting! Your videos are awesome and have taught me how to use my machine, thank you 🙏
Debbie Reed I think there are some auto corrects in your message. But I think your referring to the side ways stitching that the soprano can do. If your wondering what you would use this for. A typical item would be to repair a hole in a sleave or pant. You would put a patch over the hole and with the item in the machine you could repair the item without having to move it. You would do a square patch using the up, down, left and right functions. I'll do a tutorial on it. I hope I've answered your question, if not comment below.
Hi Cassie, how are you? Even, I have Wing needle with me. Have you used regular thread or some slightly thick thread for this needle. Actually, I don't know, the exact use of this needle. When, free, can youb fplease tell me in detail? :) if you don't mind, just seethe stitch styles of brother LX27Nt and let me know which dtitches are suitable to sew with wing needle. I just hope, I am not troubling you. :)
Faodail Creation No, I have three sewing machines and a serger, but not the Soprano. I bought a Klassé hemstitch wing needle 100/16 and an open toe presser foot, and a spool of 576 yards of Mettler silk finish cotton thread. I am all set! I did a pre-test and delighted!! I also bought a stitch-in-the-ditch/edge joining presser foot and ecstatic with results it gives. My vintage machine works great using the wing needle when I choose the feather stitch and the stretch stitch for heirloom sewing, and the overcast stitch makes excellent heirloom pintucks. I am happy, happy happy!!! Thanks, anyway, for your reply and for your informative video.

Aww thank you Debbie, you're so kind. Thank you for the feed back and suggestions they are always very much appreciated.
What use would you have for the machine to sew sideways??

I use regular thread. 🙂
OK. Thank you.. I have the same shade, that you have used with Wing needle.:)
What presser foot and is it snap-on for low shank, and can I use this heirloom sewing technique on a manual (not computerized) machine?
Jude Jane this would have been the N foot as it’s a decorative stitch. Are you using a soprano?
Faodail Creation No, I have three sewing machines and a serger, but not the Soprano.

@@TheJudeJane that's awesome. I wish I could see a picture of what you are going to create. ❤❤ have fun.
What did you mark your line with? I thought you said an iron??
I normally just fold the fabric over and create a line that way.
Lol, I see! Thank you so much...for your reply and your tutorials.
@@jennyholding5272 you're welcome
