(We shop on Tuesday evening in Manhattan, NYC)
Wednesday: Chilaquiles, Dinner: Romanian Chicken Soup & Bread
Thursday: Charcuterie Board, Dinner: Lamb Korma w/ naan & basmati rice
Friday: Baked potatoes with bacon, lettuce, tomato & cheese, Dinner: BBQ chicken w/ rainbow pasta & greens
Saturday: Sandwiches, grapes, juice, chips, Dinner: Burritos
Sunday: Zuppa Toscana (crockpot), Dinner: Nachos w/ beef, lettuce, tomatoes
Monday: Tuna Melts, Dinner: Minestrone Soup & Bread
Tuesday: Hamburgers & Potato fries, Dinner: Beans & Rice/ burritos & Shopping Snacks
See what it takes to feed our family of 12 for a week! We go to Costco and Trader Joe's in this video. We also buy extra things at Lincoln Market that we can't find at the other stores. We bring Naomi (14), Anna (11), Chloe (12), Enoch (7), Melody (4), and Moses (2).

Amber I want you to know that you are just as good as Marco is at picking fruit and vegetables, putting items in the cart and then into the car you just have different methods. I'm like Marco putting things in specific places however I've learnt that there are many ways to achieve a goal so I'm not criticising him. You did a lot of the Trader Joes shop wonderfully while he was parking. Don't let anyone including yourself talk negative thoughts over you because God made you perfect.
I always get that same vibe. She’s so encouraging and sweet but self deprecating also. I hope she’s encouraged and not constantly criticized.
@user-bg2xf6zy3m I am glad I wasn't reading more into it. I do think that there is a lot of love between them. I have mainly picked up on this from watching the grocery hauls and Marco is particular about how the cart has to be packed, but I am the same. Amber is such a sweet person and just listening to her birth stories I know she has overcome many difficult situations with a lot of strength and of course I just think she is an amazing Mum.

With green hard mangoes, just set the on the counter in their box, wait a eek or two, the longer the better. When they seem to be very soft, wait some more.

You know all the peel from the orange,grapefruit,lemon etc you could keep the peel and make some jam for the kids also buy an extra bag of plums do the same and your daughter could make jam drop biscuits which are easy and Moe would love them...
If you have leftover Herbs wash the dry cut it up put in freezer bag it stays fresh so U can use the next week...just undo the bag close it back up chuck in freezer...just to save you some money...
U could also get a big pot to grow chives, oregano, or Herbs U use...

Eating from paper plates is something we do in the UK at parties, not usually for everyday meals. I do understand it's much easier for a large family to do it that way though. Is it an American thing to shop so late in the evening? Moses and Melody do so well at doing it, mine would just be so grumpy and ready for bed. Loved the Wonder Woman vests for the new 👶
A lot of big families use paper plates. The reason their family shops so late is, Marc doesn't get off work until late and I don't think Amber could handle all of that by herself. That's a lot of work!
Have you thought about getting washable napkins so you don't have to buy them every week? Just a thought. ❤

Just looked online about collagen . You can find it in sardines and berries. A tip to save money - the nutrients are found in what you eat and drink 😊

a washcloth would be smarter n cleaner option then wipies on table.not very money smart either. paper plates waste of money aswell put back pkates n buy package of meat n use clothe napkins you have to do laundry anyways

We definitely are prayerful. There are certain areas with lots of protesters and we usually try to avoid those areas.
That's actually a good price on the kiwis those at shop rite are 5 for 4.99!
We do sams-i also try my hardest to feed the kids-and myself-as healthy as possible it we also always hit the food court up. It’s so cheap and the kids love it and see it as “going out to dinner” good video!

Have you considered getting better than bullion instead of pre-made broth? So tasty, cheap, makes a ton. Just add water!

I was at Costco the other day and saw the Costco monopoly there too ... didn't get it, but it looked interesting! I love their hot rotisserie chickens. The cart that you saw at Costco ... I have one of those, and they fold up easily, so you could put it behind a door or something like that so it doesn't take up a lot of room. It was one of the best buys I've ever made. Why do I love to watch grocery shopping? Can be it really is interesting, the editing done well. That ending Mo so cute his knee hug, when dad holds him pats Mo, Mo patting his father you both are amazing parents. With so many kids all doing so much in life school and growing along with you parents planning, jobs, not a dull moment.

Food here in the mountains of NC is as much money, if not more. Very expensive here! I think they do really well! That’s not much money to feed so many people healthy and delicious meals… they also bake a lot. Im quite impressed at how inexpensive their grocery bills are. Especially, if you deduct the NON food items they include.

Do you realise that she home schools, is currently pregnant, takes the kids out to do things nevermind filming for this channel which is a part of their income and their main income when Marco didn't have a job. She writes the shopping list meaning she is a big part of the meal planning. Every couple splits up the roles/chores differently and it's no one elses business. Don't take her kindness, happiness and positive attitude and turn it into something it's not.

We moved from Washington where's there's costcos every where to NW Arkansas and have to drive 90 minutes to Tulsa, Oklahoma to get to the closest Costco😂. I miss being closer- but I will go because I love their brand of espresso beans ❤. There's always a stock up every couple months-
It’s because Walmart keeps Costco out of that Bentonville Fayetteville area. Nobody can compete there.
What a wonderful Haul! I love bringing my kids shopping with me! We always have between 4 and 11 kids shopping with us. Haha! I love seeing all the different items your Costco has. I still find it crazy that you have to pay for parking to shop at Costco. Your Trader Joe's is much bigger than ours, and I'm glad your store had more food this time. did you ever shop in the aldi in that mall. easier then going to trader joes.
Yes! It didn’t have much left on the shelves. Neither does Trader Joe’s but our Aldi has even less. I’m hoping now that the Target is moving out the Aldi food will be in higher demand and will have more of a stock. There is a big problem with shoplifting in this mall so stores have a hard time staying in business. Thankfully Costco is set up in a way that discourages shoplifting but people still try!

Trader Joe's prices are very comparable to most grocery stores like Stop and Shop or in my area, Shaw's.
It’s the least expensive place I can shop in the SF area of Cali. ❤️
It’s probably the least expensive store in NYC for us so that’s probably why it’s so busy.
For me some things are priced well and others it is too pricey. I just get certain items I know are cheaper there or I cannot get somewhere else. I only go once a month though.

Aw thank you! We moved to New York for the music school opportunities. Marc works at a sign company, I do online content creation from home and the kids play music. It’s still a bit of a struggle but we’re praying and working our way through it!❤️

Yes I tell them they can soda or a churro. It’s too much sugar otherwise. Especially since they normally get some treats at Trader Joe’s too.
Mt daughter never gets soda! She is 9. She loves her water! It is what she prefers to drink anyway!

It seems like every time I comment, I end up writing a novel. There's just so much to say about your family and the things we get to see while you take us with you. Naomi loves going to Trader Joes with you because she gets to pick out the things to make all the delicious desserts. Your kids are so talented in so many ways. I get Anna and Chloe mixed up because they look like twins. I just realized that the two of you have to make 2 BIG meals a day. That right there costs a lot, especially for a big family. Also, you make the meals from scratch, not a pop in the microwave meal.

Mo is only 2 years old. He needs to be in bed at a reasonable time. Poor kid is tired. If he isn’t taking a nap put him to bed about 7. Kids this age need 12-14 hours of sleep a day. It’s crazy you keep him up so late
But who says he doesn't sleep the hours? Maybe he wakes up around 9 am in the morning, you don't know their routine! Not that it is your business, you do you, let them do theirs
