Wow, this was a grave misrepresentation of what is currently happening... Most of the video was taken from Ottawa and NOT from where the border is blocked in Alberta (almost opposite sides of the country). As well, there are vaccine mandates for American truck drivers crossing the border as well. Finally, there is already a movement in place of truck drivers wanting to travel from California to DC in support, set for some time in March... And now I realize why so many people are upset with news stations... They no longer have the heartbeat of what is going on in this world... Nice try though...

I do believe these truckers do a better job. But I'll tell you what if this keeps up I can tell you right now what's going to end up happening. I think what's going to end up happening is you're going to see truckers from Canada and the United States come together to put it into these masked mandates and these restrictions. And as far as I'm concerned I hope this freedom convoy gets to be so big but this is going to bring back the citizen band radio craze that's right there will be a lot more people buying CB radios within the next few months because of this freedom convoy. Because I think it's time to start showing our support for truckers by buying citizen bad radios and start using them. Hopefully we can bring the CB radio craze back and help put it into this mandates and these restrictions. Because this is not going to do a city good being locked down like this! Because this is going on way too long. I think what the prime minister of Canada has done has completely shut the country down! So that's why I hope and pray these truckers from Canada to the United States can really stand up and tell our government that this is not the way to go these mandates and restrictions need to end now they need to end as quick as possible. And that's why there is is why I think these truckers need to blare their horns loud and strong and let people know that this is not going to be going on very much longer. But if I do hear a semi-horn out my window I'll tell you this much right now at least I'm showing my support and I'll continue to show my support for the truckers. They cry about inconvenience, what about all the mom and pop businesses that are not around anymore, what about the people who’s lives were destroyed financially during the lockdowns, what about all the people who died from drug and alcoholic issues during the lockdowns, what about the children that missed school and live in fear because of these lockdowns?? During the lockdowns we were expected to keep rolling no matter what, rest areas were closed to us , bathrooms were closed to us , places to eat were closed to us, but we had to keep on trucking. Now it’s our turn. I support 1000% what’s going on in Canada and hope it spreads to the USA.

As a truck driver that has been vaccinated, I would say that a vaccine mandate for the truckers of the United States would be a really bad idea. Majority of the drivers out there are owner operators and they can say no to any customer that demand vaccinations. I don’t have a degree in supply chain management but I don’t think that it would benefit the people of the United States if they mandated vaccines for truck drivers.

Chaotic in the sense that they've brought the city to a halt. For the people who live there - How do you get to work? Is your business even able to function? Can you drive your car to the grocery store to get food? What if you want to get in or out of the United States? Everything is blocked off. Trucks are big.
Plus (not shown here) a lot of these people are anti-mask as well and going into businesses to harass 15 year old employees or whoever that have to tell them to leave the store.
