If u could not see the red led . I think the red led light is broken . But do not worry . If the blue led could work . That means the camera could work . Without red light. It is difficult to understand the camera state . Maybe u could replace a new one from u seller .

I'm digitally stupid I guess. Do you have to use the cord everytime after you film? Do you have to put the dongle thing in? Why can't you just keep the adaptor that you use to format in the computer to charge it(charging is not my problem though, since I have power. Just wondering on that one).

you can record 60 mins when u fully charge the camera. for log recordings, video is saved and divided into separate clips every 5 mins and continues recording until stopped.
