@@starcrossedllovers5791 Like,it's amazing how he understands that love is not just attraction or anything like that,or even to get along with someone,it's bigger and deeper,it has to do with maturity and determination to make it work. Love is not easy,it takes a lot of effort,and that is something he was really able to show with Pacey and Joey. Everytime i see someone saying they prefer Dawson and Joey i just think...you didn't understand a bit what the show was about...i actually feel sad for the person lol
the break up makes me cry ...... and relieved when they talk after ...but tge reaction of joey of talking to pacey even it breaks her into a million pieces proved that she still care and love him ...minus the kiss ...well they end up not hurting each other... remain friends
now after viewing so many times ...i understand that pacey is pushing joey to socialized and met friends or boys in season 5 ..after hearing Audry that joey is not th at kind of girl who mingled with men and get involved ..still not ready to have boyfriends after him ( sad break up)..and when dawson and joey slept together ..he is hurting because he still loved her and did not get over after many girls she slept with ..he can't tell audry he loved her..now during this K mart i can't explain how happy i am that pacey still for joey unti now ..that's why he stayed in Boston ..not accepting another yacth sailing job...and after LA with audry ..he kept busy for that stock broker job to kept him in Boston...and he's happy that joey was not anymore with Eddie ..and during his party in his apartment he so concerned and let joey enjoy the party..cause he know in his heart that joey push eddie to make his life better..
The fact that Pacey broke up with Joey at Prom Cuz she was going to Worthington, and he wasn't and then he started dating her roommate will always bother me.
He began dating Audrey to stay close to Joey in some form.....he didn't believe he deserved her, but.needed tl be near her. I mean Dawson was in a relationship when he got together with Joey, after having a relationship with Jen after giving up Film School for Joey.....
