⁠@@Yayararlal It really isn’t though, we were promised a show that accurately portrayed the books. The Disney+ show isn’t that. Gabe is supposed to be an abusive asshole, you’re not supposed to feel bad for Medusa. Medusa was a monster in Greek mythology and was only painted as a victim by a ROMAN author hundreds of years later, if I recall correctly it was Ovid. I don’t care that the actors look different, I care that we were promised an accurate representation of the books and all we got was a shitty cash grab show from Disney. I adore Uncle Rick and have for YEARS but the show sucks in my opinion.
