    I did not know how hard you have to practice before improving, until now I was just hitting balls without a plan. Thank you for so clear instructions (also you speak so clearly that is a pleasure to listen to you)

    Excellent instructional video, Paige. Like you, I never found the clock method useful for me. I can feel how hard to hit a club from 100 yards in. Your tips on how to zone in on distances using a range finder is great. I will include this in my practice sessions. Thanks for helping me lower my score.

    Thanks Paige! No joke, all the vids of you that I’ve watched has improved my swing immensely. Most recently I’ve found my flawed wrist position from watching you (and Dustin Johnson), and my weight transfer has improved! So a few ideas for you. Please keep them coming,.

    One of the best wedge videos that I have seen. I tend to just hit wedges randomly on the range without really focusing in on distance. I want to go to the range and follow the tips on your video.

    1. Excellent instructional content and advice on how to practice with the wedges.
    2. Excellent golf swing What is your weakness Paige? (Swing looks so mechanically sound and perfectly balanced).
    3. Excellent delivery and, of course, perfectly stunning!

    Hi Paige. Good video. When my ball striking is poor, then I need to play more wedge shots per round. When ball striking is good, then I am chipping or putting more and might only have a few wedges shots on par 5’s or short par 4’s per found. Thanks for explaining your approach for wedge practice. I like working on my short game. Here is a suggestion - could you do a wedge video explaining how you are playing your wedges on the course? If yes, please add how you are allowing for winds and elevation and green speed differences. Really enjoy your videos. Good luck if you start competing again. Thanks.

      I just started playing golf about 5 weeks ago. It took me some time but I literally bought so much stuff. Golf clubs w/ bag. Golf shoes, alllllll different balls, clothes- shirts, skirts, glove, proper socks, tons of hats, ball markers, athletic tape for my screwed up knee, sunglasses, just to name a few..... I won't begin to tell you how much I've spent... sooooooo, here's my dilemma,....... I have no idea what club to use... I know about the driver and sand wedge but I have no clue on my #6, #7, #8 and #9 clubs... I even have played 5 holes on the course because I've spent a great deal of my time searching for the ball, lol 😆.. soooo, what do you think ?

  • @paulbrunt5251
    @paulbrunt5251 5 лет назад

    Nice video Paige. You’re completely right about good wedge play being able to save a round. It has allowed many birdies and saved several pars for me.
    When I was younger I could never hit a SW it’s full distance as I would just balloon any full swing.
    So I had to teach myself how to manufacture different shots with my PW to fill the large gap as I never used to own a GW.
    So now I’m very confident playing 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, low or high shots with my wedges, but the real advantage is because I’m confident with those swings I’ve been able to implement them through my entire bag.
    So I hope this video allows others to achieve the same confidence that I have. I’ve played of basically every handicap from 32-4 and one of the main reasons I was able to achieve that was good wedge play as I’m not a big hitter. I only carry my 7I around 130-135m.
    Thanks again Paige and keep the great videos coming 😀😀👍

    great vid Paige. I started doing this last year, I do waist, shoulders and full swing with 9-pw-gw-56-52. it helps give me different options and has helped reduce my handicap. my waist PW goes the same total as my full 56 just with a lower flight. recommend every one does this.

The Legendary “Chi-Chi Rodriguez” El Legado golf course has a beautiful course in the south part of PR (Guayama is the City), I remember visiting it back then. But I am sure that something can be done to advertise their courses post Hurricane Maria to boost their tourism and economy to get golfers down there. I’m up here in NC, near Pine Hurst. Played once and is awesome! Soon heading back to PR after retirement from the military 🙂
