Much love from the Netherlands! I love the way your videos are more personal and give an actual look into the life of a world cup skier. It's refreshing and unique! It is something I really missed as a young ski racer trying to find videos of world cup athletes. It's difficult being a ski racer while living in the Netherlands (with there being no mountains and all ;) ) but your mentality and your energy really inspire me to stay confident and keep on pushing to that next level. Hey Mandy! It feels really good actually. I’m barely feeling pain anymore, other than a little sore scar tissue at times. I can feel that a little after skiing several days with tough conditions and dry land sessions after every day of skiing. But that’s it! Thanks for the support!

Hey, thanks! I spent 5 months in rehab before trying to ski. But first time joining the team on the glacier was after 7 months. 🤙🏽

Have you lived in United States at any point? You sound like an American when speaking English.
I have not! But since I had to learn two languages when I was a kid (portoguese&norwegian), I found it very fun to learn new languages properly so I could get around everywhere. And I’ve also had several foreign coaches while doing sports. Currently learning German!
