Can you tell us .....what is the white powder you are using? Is it a type of acrylic powder that can be mixed in water or use dry? I know that salt added some very interesting texture to paint. I think if we google dry paints, we'll find out what it is and also there is Dick Blick artist supplies.
Your paintings are just beautiful, I've enjoyed watching you paint your abstracts and I've learned so much that will help me do some interesting background in my collages.
I have replied several times - it is marble powder! You need a acrylic binder to use it or you can strew it directly ower the wet color....

Ms. Wittenwiler, first let me say how much I enjoy your painting videos. As an added bonus they're very meditative, and I have from time to time viewed them during a hectic work day for a bit of respite. Thank you.
I see that you've shared that you used marble powder and/or stone powder and to try finding it in building materials. May I ask for a bit more specificity. What kind of powder is the grey powder? The closest item I found was grey mortar. I suspect that's not the same thing you used. Thank you for your time.

It is best to use sand than table salt. Any kind of sand you can use really.

Bonjour, j'ai dû voir une centaine de fois cette vidéo ! Voir l'élaboration aussi rapide et assurée de ce magnifique tableau m'éblouit à chaque fois. Est-ce que la peintre savait ce qu'elle voulait obtenir en commençant le tableau ? Ou est-ce qu'il se construit au fur et à mesure ?

what do you use in your spray bottle? When I spray on acrylic it never bleetches out like yours

Hi Bridgette, I use normal synthetic brushes.... (short handle and normal)
Hallo! Deine Bilder sind wirklich inspirierend und schön. Aber eine Frage habe ich: Läuft das Video schneller ab als es im original ist. Wenn nicht finde ich es nämlich sehr hektisch gemalt. Braucht Kunst nicht Ruhe?
Hallo Carola, nein das Video läuft nicht schneller.... ich male tatsächlich so schnell... es ist wie "meine Explosion"..... mit Hektik hat das nichts zu tun...
