Wasn't sure what I expected when I clicked on this, but WOW! This young woman has the Texas Blues sound in her soul! I'll be looking for a lot more from her in the future.
My first impression is that she has 20 percent more in the tank. I cant wait to see more of her in the future to see how much better she will be not that she is not awesome already. For such a young lady she has so much grit and soul in her voice and to still have a dynamic range is awesome. Long live the blues!
I think you’ll find that they have to play quietly in a small studio. Tiny amps, the drummer is tickling them… it must be hard playing with passion whilst simultaneously being subdued. 😊🔥

Intro to the first tune put me very much in mind of the amazing electric interpretation of open G tuned delta slide guitar blues as filtered through the Spanish born Scottish rock and roller that was Manny Charlton of Nazareth in the 1970s and beyond- tunes like Woke up this Morning, Miss misery, Vigilante Man, and so many others. I hadn’t actually realized until I listened to this and went looking for some of those classic tunes to enjoy again that apparently he passed away a couple of weeks ago now. RIP Manny- your influence very clearly lives on, and a brand new generation of musicians are taking up the mantle.
I'm 54 and am nothing more than a casual player. I've long considered music and true musicians to be on a downcline for some 20 years now. Ally totally restores my faith in our future. Thank you Ally Venable

I cant imagine encountering a girl in real life who is extremely serious about guitar and plays mindblowingly..I see them on here but never encountered one in real life, seriously, I cant imagine.
I am 68 years old and I also never met any woman that was passionate about playing guitar like that. It is a rare thing. I love it that there are young people, especially young women that love to play this kind of music. Just a great thing to see and experience that there are exceptions to that that sound fabulous.

@@richcummings9111 sadly didn't meet Elijah but I did meet Ally Marie and spoke to her for ten minutes at the merchs table she signed my merchs had photos taken with her and she was lovely!
