When I saw the title of the video, I thought " I wonder what HE thinks WiFi 7's best feature is... I think it's being able to connect to multiple bands at once, but there's some other interesting stuff 7 can do"... nope. we agree I guess :P Still informative, I didn't know about the different modes of MLO, and also kept forgetting it was called MLO :P
since your video.. im looking at Launtel for my HFC. what router do you recommend seeing i wont need a modem. i currently have a nighthawk mr60. cheers
The night hawk should be fine to be honest, I reckon it would great. Otherwise depends what speed you want to get on your HFC to then decide what features you may need
Thanks for the video. So this sounds like you can potentially get the advantage of the multi-band connectivity (MLO) feature of wifi 7 if your device is a wifi 7 device but the router / AP would only need to be wifi 6 being that it has the available bands available (2.4, 5, and 6).. is this correct or do both need to have wifi 7 to support this feature?

@@TechManPat sorry 1000/50 . unless you know anyone who does faster upload for hfc :)
Were/are you by any chance using some video editing/AI for your eyes? It was bugging me, as it looked unnatural.

Thats right, just the devices connected to each other
I'm excited because my Optus 5G Ultra Wifi Modem is Wi-Fi 7 Ready.. but none of my devices support it. with my iPhone only supporting 6E
The optus wifi 7 router do not have 6ghz band lol
Carrier aggregation!
turn your wifi off at night and you sleep better, wifi7 is only going to make that worse.
Does this mean that my WiFi router from the year 2017 is now obsolete?
Nah not yet but getting there
But what’s the range on 6ghz or will everyone go to 2.4 in the backyard??
pretty much...
@@TechManPat is the range the same as 5 or a little worse?
What u should of done in this vid as well was recommend modem routers and routers that’s is WiFi 7 compatible with pricing locally
But then I would get to make another stand alone video :) haha
Was looking forward to someone explaining it properly. Thanks
