That Watts interception is MUCH more impressive than it might initially appear. As a safety on that play, you are watching the receiver ... you are gaging and getting ready to make a tackle if necessary. Watts zeroed in on that ball from before it got past the receiver ... he was ready to make whatever play was necessary, including intercepting the pass. It's just a next level thought process that great players have, and many good players frankly don't. There is a reason that Watts has 13 INTs in the last 2 seasons (so far). That kid is just way ahead of the curve as a thinking player. It isn't just about physical ability, though he has that too ... he's really special. And I imagine when we get to the point of reflecting on "all-time ND teams" that Watts will be right there in the discussion among safeties. Love that kid. Wish him the best.
Yeah. It is kind of crazy. After week one, it was a common statement that "ND was a lock for the playoffs." Then after week two, it was a common statement that "ND was done for the season." In the end, ND basically clawed all the way back from that horrible week 2 loss. Given the playoff structure, ND was ineligible to get a first round bye ... even if ranked #1 or #2. The best they could possibly do was to host a first-round game. And that is where they landed. Could they have secured a easier path to advance? Sure. But at a baseline level, ND ended up getting to their best outcome even given the disaster in week 2. I think it speaks well to the team and the coaches. I don't know what will happen against UGA, but this team earned my respect. Period.
Indiana was completely outclassed. I felt like the coaching staff played this game perfectly. The offense was very vanilla (keep as much off of film as possible) and they minimized the snaps for our big playmakers. I hope Mills is okay
Still , that unit has struggled with the blocks… Jeter did not get under the ball enough. NOW OR NEVER TO CLEAN IT UP for that unit! Just can’t have it especially this time of year! Shank is one thing… blocks are disastrous… especially against a team like Georgia
Awesome game Go Irish ☘️I gotta be honest I love Notre Dame with all my heart and this was a great game im so proud of this team , but guys we gotta be honest with ourselves this game against Georgia is gonna be tough physical the absolute hardest game we will play all year the cost of playing Georgia if we are blessed enough to win we're gonna be beat up from that game to advance to the 3rd round 🙏 that's what I'm worried about they're are absolute Dawgs pun intended lol I mean did you see how Georgia tech was so beat up after that game idk this one makes me nervous Go Irish ☘️☘️
National media can keep doubting/hating on this team… the narrative was “IU shouldn’t have been in” instead of “Notre Dame IS excellent”. I didn’t hear the same argument when Tennessee was beat down worse than IU was against OSU… the SEC bias is real, despite the parity in the league growing.
I love my team,, lets go boys☘️☘️ but freaking out w Georgia little scared bout that game,, as long as we stay strong and and confident and do wat freeman said we got this!!!! 🙏 please boys lets get it!!
That was like playing a JV team 😂… take advantage of this opportunity before the CFP comes to their senses and stops basing their selections on social media casuals
How can it be that Notre Dame with all it's money & deals can't give us the full game replay? WHY DO I HAVE TO SEARCH & SEARCH FOR THE INDIANA GAME 'DAYS LATER' they can sell ads on the replay, they can make it part of the contracts with the godless ESPN (owned by sick woke Disney) WHY CAN'T I SIMPLY STREAM THE GAMES 'DAYS LATER!?)

@@JustinNDSniper For sure, this game and that game were the two that I attended this season. Night and day difference.

Lets go boys! Beat georgia! ☘️☘️☘️
Jeter: I'm back. ☘️
Feels good to have a good kicker again lol
Yep. That 49-yarder might have been the most important play big picture. Seems like Jeter is finally healthy, in body and mind. ND needs that.
He had another one blocked though … he’s one of the most blocked fg kickers in the country
@@dragotx21 Is that a kicker problem or a kick team problem? I think the latter. Still good to see Jeter confidently drilling one.

@@dashx1103 the snap and hold look great . The offensive lineman can’t stop the d line from jumping straight up . Looks like a kicking problem to me …
Incredible video. Even better team effort on the field. We can do this whole thing. Lets go!!!

Prayers for Rylie and Rocco.
Be better. Keep winning.
We beat Georgia we winning the natty #LFGIRISH
There’s a magic….
I wish Benjamin Morrison was able to play so the pressure wouldn't all be on christian gray .
Agreed. I have a feeling that passing teams will exploit that deep pass 1 v 1 every chance they get.
As these games intensify, it is going to be crucial to not allow explosive plays.
I love how J Love did the most useless hurdle in the history of hurdles but still embarrassed the poor fella

I kept waiting for one of the announcers, or other experts, to say Well this just proves that Tennessee doesn't belong in these playoffs.
SEC bias? You realize Alabama got left out in favor of SMU which looked like a middle school team, right?
Stick with my statement. Bring on the puppies.
