As you snap the ball just look at your outside WR. If he blows past the corner and corner stands there than the corner in some sort of cover 2 and you just bullet it in there. You don't even need to look at the safety cause if the corner doing that than you know he over the top or it's 6 anyway. It's a quick thing and you only run it when you notice your opponent is running cover 2 abundantly. This ant something your looking to run as a set play

enward lover bro throw where they are not. Pick up there tendencies with routes n plays...adjust accordingly to make it look like the same stuff but have an outlet route opposite side of the field

Ez way to stop this is to put a LB in the middle deep 3rd. Also, running cover 2 with hard flats, and manually putting in purples or seam flats, or clouds is pretty nasty. Obv, i like to man up the guy i think is on a corner or post, and then user the opposite seam basically. Good offenses will mix the run and pass well to get good down an distance, and keep u honest. Its not a bad game this year in my opinion. I quit madden for a while, but i like what theyve done with the xfactors.

Wheel routes are super good. But, if u know ur opponent is running a wheel, u wanna send heat, and put the corner that would b on the wheel, on a deep 1/4. Try it, deep quarters play deep and hug the sidelines.
That sideline throw to wheel route VERY IMPORTANT if you lead pass open receiver ball goes out of bounds just push receiver icon if he is open to complete accurate sideline throw
I gave a like but honestly, it's all good running against the CPU's A.I....what about when you are facing a lurk master? You have to consider that guy that's running around with Deion Jones / Miles Jack etc...or some other 88 speed nobody that's can be user-ed. The updated the passing from launch so it just about sucks like last year - hence it's just easier to run...for now
u just have to account for that and adjust ... if u know the coverage and u know your opponent likes to lurk with the MLB and cut off those short routes you adjust ... so say for the play hes using.. if the D comes out in say a cover 4 , then the user MLB will most likely cover the dragging WR in which most likely u hit the RB on the quick out ... he cant cover both routes ... and then say he starts shading in the coverage .. then your gonna have to adjust ... but thats the chess match... for me, i like when guys i play always lurk with the MLB as i know what to expect ... then i like to flood the middle with crossing routes, cant cover everyone ... and for me on D, i change it up and user the FS or SS alot as well
Perhaps this is a dumb question, but does the rampant success have anything to do with the quality of the corners? I'm a Pittsburgher, but even I'll admit our secondary isn't great - especially pre-Minkah Fitzpatrick. Would a higher quality safety seriously let up that wheel route deep every time?
Michael I always get switched to the wrong fckn guy when I’m expecting to go to the close guy coming in, and then the next defender past him flops on the ground from a hot stick attempt and the guy coming in for that perfect tackle gets shook and now the ball carrier has an open field.
@@LJT9393 for that problem make sure ur settings for "defense switch assist and heat seeker" are on. I was asking more about being clicked on the right person but when i press triangle to go for the pick they dont react
Jason P so if your on ps4 and the ball is coming at you there are 3 different types of catches. Triangle is a aggressive catch which is for contested catches but most of the time if a receiver takes a hard hit they won’t hold onto the ball. Square is a RAC catch which lets you catch the ball and continue running if you have space to run or you throw a deep ball and all you have to do is just run. And X which is a possession catch which is great for 4th down plays as soon as it’s a possession catch you instantly go to the ground and its also for sideline catches so you can gain the extra yards
Yea like this guy said ^ more simply put, make a receiver or 2 run some in routes where the LB’s would’ve been, pass block your TE and HB/FB and toss it quick. If you see the D line stacking up more on one side of the ball make your O line slide that direction also. But just get the ball out quick.
I played Quarterback at university and it's awesome how the same reads you make in real life work in Madden generally. Obviously in Madden people can get a bit more creative with all the wild stuff people run, but it's actually helpful to understand football when you play Madden and that's why I love it.

The distance from safety to safety will tell you cover 2 or 4. The position of the corners even tho disguised will tell you if it's cover 3

I have my offense fairly set but I keep having trouble with red zone offense. Could you do a video on what to do within 10 yards?
Spread set. Put outside receiver on a slant and the inside receiver on an out. Seems to work quite well once you get to within the 10.
I just use the stick play.

How do you voluntarily go down with receivers once you catch the ball? I’ve looked all over for how to do it and haven’t found anything.

how to stop mid blitz spamming
In that formation, make R1 on a zig, motion the wheel route, max protect. Zig is always open
Also works with that pinch buck o. Also, singleback bunch quick pitch does the job too

What do you do when people cover multiple routes with the linebacker
