Wow! Chinese cvt!!!! All the best! Congratulations. Cvt is a very complex technology and very expensive to repair incase if it has some problem. Honda and Toyota has mastered this technology and it will last long. Nissan has failed, so are many manufacturers. CVT slipping starts... get ready to cough out atleast 3 to 4 lakh rupees for its replacement as it can't be repaired easily ! And if its cvt is from JATCO transmission, then in 1lakh kms, there is 90% chances you will have to replace transmission

MG Hector is far better not just in terms of tech but also in terms of build quality and safety than its Korean counterparts. Complete value for money.

MG Hector Size is good but offers pronounced body roll when compared with Harrier, Compass, Kushaq-Taigun & Creata-Seltos. Plus having a tablet for all controls - AC,....... Invites trouble in future.
IF U DRIVING UPTO SPEED OF 120 KM THERE IS NO BODY ROLL INFACT AT LOW SPEEDS IT HAS BEST RIDE QUALITY.I think so nobody drives more than 120 km per hour who is responsible person.Beyond 120 speed,definateky bodyroll is prounounced as compared to harrier and xuv 700.
each facelift takes car more away from value for money proposition. not everybody needs adas and some gimmic stuff or chrome grill etc. dealers deny base and middle variant availability and pushes to sell top end variant only.
MG is not revealing how are they addressing the BS6 phase 2 engine issue which is legally compulsory from 1st April 2023. All other manufacturers have released the new engine details. How can they launch a facelift with an engine which will have to be changed in 2 months? Also, HECTOR is probably the only modern car which doesn't show average fuel consumption. They are probably trying to hide the low average !

Tata and Mahindra cars are safer than MG Hector. MG Hector driving experience is also a let down when compared to Tata Harrier/ XUV 700. Hector is more of a chuaffer driven car than a enthusiast car.
