Our courts are similar but we've kept some traditions. Judges and barristers wear wigs and the judge wears very old fashioned clothes. It's the Crown vs the defendant and a juror of 12 men and women(although I believe it's 13 in Scotland)

@@toreckman8899 How is Judge Dorow sending the wrong message? Is she supposed to allow the Sovereign Citizen to constantly interrupt the proceedings? Eventually she will have to appoint an attorney to stop all of the interruptions. Appellate judges will take into account that his constant interruptions as being negative when an appeal happens. The preponderance of the evidence from eyewitnesses will convict him regardless of whatever disruptive delay tactics he's not so deftly deploying.
If Judge Dorow didn't allow him to defend himself, then he could try to claim inadequate legal counsel on an appeal. Though disturbing to watch, the Sovereign Citizen is not helping his cause. Judges really detest attorneys that don't engage in courtroom decorum. He's not an attorney, so Judge Dorow is allowing a long leash to the Sovereign Citizen so he will eventually hang himself with. He should plead guilty, but he's obviously a narcissist who realizes this is his last chance to make it all about himself.

He tried, and TRIED HARD, SEVERAL TIMES, pretty much daily when it got closer to the end of the case!! He wanted the judge to find him in contempt, because it wouldn't effect him at all since he's already in jail, but he does know it would cause a delay in the trial. That is his ONLY goal, is to try and delay, the inevitable!! I misspoke, the other reason he's doing this is him preparing for his appeal, and if was able to push it hard enough, he might get the judge to make a mistake, which could cause a mistrial. The state and the judge did an EXCEPTIONALLY AMAZING JOB making/keeping a clear record on EVERYTHING!! They did such an AMAZING job that Brooks didn't even realize how well they did!! He let his MONSTROUS RAGE get the best of him. He forgot how MANY TIMES the judge INFORMED him how difficult it would be to represent himself. He even became angry with her when she kept repeating what that meant. She made it VERY CLEAR, that once his lawyers withdrew, that there'd be NO STAND BY ATTORNEYS, the state doesn't allow for it. She INFORMED him SEVERAL TIMES that he would be all alone, NO ONE will be sitting next to him, or assisting him in ANY WAY!! Apparently it's state law. She even explained SEVERAL TIMES, SEVERAL WAYS, CLARIFIED SEVERAL TIMES THAT HE HEARD, AND HE WAS INFORMED of what issues, and difficulties to him being pro se,pro per (which she made it VERY CLEAR that they meant the SAME THING!! She even read the definition, explained what the definition meant). He tried to argue with her, that he was informed what it all meant. I know that some of us, including myself didn't understand why it seemed she gave him too many chances, repeated herself too much, but she did EVERYTHING and ANYTHING to get an ACCURATE AND VERY CLEAR, APPEAL PROOF RECORD!!

What Is the Duper's Delight? The duper's delight is an emotional boost, or thrill, that some people get when they successfully cheat or deceive another person or organization. The rush they enjoy can lead them to repeat their dishonesty, even when there's no reward other than the high itself. This is what Daaaaaaaarrell Brooks is all about.

Acting as your own attorney(even if you're the best one there is) is a terrible idea. It makes it that every motion, exam, objection, etc. is also evidence for the jury and at any time opposing council could question these actions as evidence. Darrell's trial makes this very apparent.

She can hold him like any other judge in contempt of court that just adds another charge another year another manother month to his outcome. A reason why the judge has been so patient with him and doesn't do this is it prolongs the time For the people who were affected by this to suffer more. And we know as well as everybody else on this planet that has seen this trial is that his reasoning for doing this and being so defiant is that he himself confide himself can file an appeal immediately after he is found guilty. Soon as he is sentenced he will file an appeal saying that he wasn't properly represented that the courts did not allow him to plead his case that they were Basically bias to him on all kinds of factors I'm sure. But by her maintaining her composure Doing everything by the book and being so patient this will get thrown out. They can go back in the court documents and they can see overnight see over and over again why the judge had to keep control of the court as well as his rights being maintained. This is all about him filing an appeal because he knows he is guilty of what he did. Not guilty people do not behave this way they don't run away from what they did because if they're not guilty they behave themselves if they are guilty this is what you get people that run away from what they did people that deny what they did when there's enough evidence shown that they were the person that perpetrated This evil deed

Aren’t there at least minimum requirements for someone to represent themselves? This isn’t his opportunity to attend free law school. He is ruled competent yet still complains that he doesn’t understand. The court shouldn’t be required to explain every minute detail to him. He’s making a joke of this court and I can’t believe this judge is allowing it. There’s a reason we have lawyers.

If you’re watching what he does the judge is being very patient explaining even wording he’s using and helping him with the proper wording and then he rejects it and refuses it at least seven times. He’s not confused, he’s a lying manipulator that hates even the person who’s helping him and refuses to do what’s right because he thinks he can do whatever he wants. Be that mass murder, beating his girlfriend, running his girlfriend over with a car on a different occasion, fleeing the law repeatedly over the years to try to get away with the wrongs that we know about him doing, and even calmly trying to manipulate people out of food for his belly after he just drove through dozens of children knowing there was going to be people dead. If you’re falling for his lie that he doesn’t know how to follow simple directions when he’s given repeated simple directions, then he’s doing a good job of manipulating you, i’m not saying you’re a fool, I’m saying you’re a good person, but he is not. He chose a hard heart an evil, he’s not crazy, he’s not confused, he tries to justify all sin if he thinks it will get him what he wants, that’s not crazy, that’s not confused, that someone who finally got caught after using evil lies and manipulation to get away with crime for years. I have a feeling the 40 people he injured, some of them with brain damage, and the six people he killed on this incident are not the only people he calmly walked away from after doing such things.
