No to the tile, so limiting. Future buyers are going to have an issue with it, it will date fast, it looks like a flag or blanket.
ffs, why not ASK clients before u make a decision? i understand the element of surprise and it is a gorgeous space but really, its a LOT of money to "take a chance" on
I loved everything BUT the floor to many stars made me dizzy. With that said, I think they could have incorporated large square tile around the star tile making is less busy. If it were me as the home owner as soon as I had the money would be ripping up the floor, keeping the mud room with the stars and and finding a plain color to match the blue for the kitchen.
It looks like you're walking on the American Flag, the floor is a huge NO for me.
I know I’m like a broken record, but I really adore Nate and Jeremiah. They are in a class all their own. ❤️❤️❤️
Some are hating on the floor but I think it honestly made the house. People need to be bold and do things that are expressive and bold! That tile took the design to next level
I would be bored of that tile in no time, one red thing in that kitchen and...well I am already thinking of the American flag.
This is why I would never choose these guys to do a home design, they should ask themselves if they would want all those stars in their kitchen. 😱
Why does he always push things on home owners, who wants a flag tiled to their floor? Would he do that in his own home? The same way he painted an entire house in the ugliest shade of blue for a client that specifically said she hates colors. His partner doesn’t help either just let’s him get away with everything
I’m a huge fan of Nate & Jeremiah’s work/designs, however, if I’m being honest, I don’t like the star tiles. The floor tiles dominate the kitchen (like an elephant in the room) taking away the features of the rest of the kitchen. Nor do blue/white tiles tie in with light green shelves on the walls and tan/black trimmed cupboards and black iron framed doorway arch. The star pattern is too much and too big of a pattern too. If Nate was skeptical about installing tiles without consulting homeowners, I would have run tiles by homeowners in this situation.
I think the tile would look fantastic in a laundry room or mud room. Love Nate & Jeremiah so much ❤️
I was like Noooo not that tile! But bomm everything turn out amazing love it! Great job guys.
Hot take: I loved every part of it, except the tile.
It actually works. Not sure I’d mix the blue tile with green cupboards but....it works! Good job guys!
This turned out beautiful! I had zero hopes for the tile 😂 but it looks fantastic! The whole look works with the tile! Love it! 👏🏻
Very cool. And yet for $75.000 this sounds way too expensive
I LOVE the kitchen and the floor. Didn't think I would, but it looks great!
Its tough when they talk about budget but then splurge on a tile that hand made and a huge arched iron door!!! Maybe take it back on the extravagant design elements if budget was an issue and give the homeowners more of what they need! I HATE the tiles and the color clash of cool and warm is off putting! Maybe if they had just done neutral flooring the rest of the cool island and wall tiles would have stood out more! I normally love their design ideas but this time was a miss! xoxo
The floor is horrible!!!! What the hell?
excellent choice of beautiful star tile in their kitchen ~ it does reflect there personalities.... I love your show. From South Africa
