The sharp movements of the chiropractor make me wince for the horses, but you can see how much better they feel. I’ve never been to one myself so I had no idea what’s involved
Wanted to add that with what your chiropractor mentioned about TBs, it would be interesting to see how Willow or Indy would like it, even Charlotte eventually.
As a lover of chiropractic care, I found this so interesting! Fascinating how the same yet different that it is for humans. Thanks for sharing! I caught a peep of Winston in the stall.
I find this so fascinating. I enjoyed the behind the scenes info of what she was doing, looking for and how it will be corrected. Thanks so much for sharing.
Who knew? I found this video to be so interesting and to watch the chiropractor adjusting each of these horses. I learned something new watching this video as I never knew you could do this with horses. I have learned so much about horses and all the other animals at Katie‘s ranch and find it fascinating. She has done such a great job educating those of us who know very little about this kind of life with farm animals. I thoroughly enjoy watching all her videos.
The poll of a horse is the bony protrusion at the top of its head, located between its ears and where the bridle begins. It's the highest point on a horse's head when it's standing with its head up, aside from its ears. The poll is a vital part of a horse's anatomy, as it's key to its freedom of movement.
“When I’m working with mares that can be snarky, I’m more comfortable if I have them close.” There is a farrier saying, you have a mean/ignorant horse to work on you keep them close. Their moment in kicks from from a long ways away (2 feet) but if you keep their back legs close to your body they can’t get the momentum, 1” punch verses a shot gun kick.
I love my chiropractor ❤. I travel 500 miles round trip cuz she keeps my older body in alignment…and she has me routinely do PEMF. Dr. Kathi also uses a specialty chiropractor for her horses. She has helped me several times with my older dogs as well. 🙋♀️💖🇨🇱
Such a great video Katie!....can you do an in depth video of PEMF and or massage? I'm thinking about going to bodywork school and doing PEMF/and massage on horses so I enjoy seeing all the different techniques/secrets
Do they shake their heads after being adjusted? I follow an equine chiropractor & his horses always shake their heads as well as licking their lips. Just curious. ☺️ Loved this video, thank you for sharing.
Bo is such a handsome horse he was like I show these young whipper snappers how it's done and Annie was the spitfire of the group raven was like oh I like this a lot. Love all your videos waiting exciting for the new little family kids to arrive. Hope you all had a great 4th of July.
I had a friend that use to do the same work as the one who is putting the horses joints and muscles in and his name was ken butler and now he had to retire as he is now to old to help the horses
How do you know how heavy of a rider the horse can carry? I’ve ridden horses before and they asked in advance how much did each rider weigh so as to get the right horse for the person. How do you know a horse shouldn’t be carrying say a 200+lb person?
I definitely agree with correcting your horse when they're being naught ie a quick tap/slap on the snout but for someone else to do that to your horse doesn't really sit right with me! Did anyone else feel weird when the chiropractor corrected Annie's behaviour without Katie's permission?
She has to establish a relationship with these horses. You can't let them walk all over you. I am a dog trainer/rehabilitator. The first few minutes are important. If you back down and allow bad or dangerous behavior then they gain confidence to do it again. Then getting it to stop is more of a challenge. If this is what is needed to correct dangerous behavior, then she needs to do it. Katie didn't flinch at all about it. This lady knows horses.
If you don't correct the horse right away it has no meaning. If she would have waited 10 seconds to ask, the correction would not make sense to the horse. The horse has to respect the person who is handling her.
Also, how do you know that Katie and the chiropractor didn't have a conversation about that before the very first session? This video doesn't show the first ever session this chiropractor did for Katie nor the first session of the day nor any conversations, agreements, etc. they have had.
I would absolutely watch 2 hours of this.
Definitely should do a full length with all the horses. It would be greatly appreciated! 😊
I would not mind watching a two hour video about all the things with your horses. Love it all.
Abigail giving Winston some back scratches is the best!
Bo is SUCH a sweet boy - he took that in his stride - no complaints - what a gem!
Definitely a great horse!
Animal chiropractic care fascinates me. I could absolutely watch 2 hours of it.
I love that there are animal chiropractors! Animal bones can go out of place just like us ❤

He reminds me so much of my childhood horse 💞🐎
His wonky ear gets me everytime!
PRP is platelet rich plasma. Platelets are spun out of blood and then injected back in joints.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
I like LONG videos! Please show all next time!!! Loved this video!!

I loved watching the horses getting adjusted. Fascinating.
Absolutely fascinating and what a great outcome Amy ❤
That was fascinating! Love your chiropractor. Man, your animals are very, very fortunate! Thanks.

Thanks for showing this, I found it really interesting to watch and see how different the horses were after their treatment.😊
Such a great video Katie!....can you do an in depth video of PEMF and or massage? I'm thinking about going to bodywork school and doing PEMF/and massage on horses so I enjoy seeing all the different techniques/secrets

Sometimes they do. Along with yawning, licking and chewing, shaking their head is another sign of tension release
It was very interesting seeing the chiropractic treatments on your horses.
I love Annie so much I have a thing for a sassy mare and she's just beautiful!!
This was so interesting!!! Now I feel like I need to see all of their adjustments! 🤣❤️
I heard the cracks and I was like.......ouch. I actually said ouch out loud
You can tell that your farm takes excellent care of your animals.
Absolutely love these!! Learning so much more!

I love Mr. BoBo’s ears ❤
I would love to see all the horses get done and the pemf! I wonder why we can’t do the pemf as humans lol I would love to do it lol!

Very interesting ❤❤❤
Oh Annie 😂
Interesting!!
I had a friend that use to do the same work as the one who is putting the horses joints and muscles in and his name was ken butler and now he had to retire as he is now to old to help the horses
How does one get into horse chiropracting? That seems like such a niche
i thought that was a barrel in the stall at the beginning but it’s just your pig lmao
So amazing 🧡👀🫶
Winston ❤❤
So cool
Oooh, do me next! 😅😂
This was interesting. Also, leave it to Abigail to be the child AND animal whisperer 😉

This might be one of my favorite videos. It is so fascinating to watch!
I wish I was a horse right now. Lol.
The last thing that they did is what i think i have heard of as magna wave
Love BoBo, he's sweet
Ok question from someone that doesn’t know much about horses. Don’t the horses need to be cross tied or is BoBo an insanely good boy?!?!!
You should show done videos if your trail rides.
I heard the pops! No mic needed
Fascinating! Katie's horses are so lucky to have her as their owner, she treats all her animals incredibly well with no expense spared! 🐎🫏🐐
How do you know how heavy of a rider the horse can carry? I’ve ridden horses before and they asked in advance how much did each rider weigh so as to get the right horse for the person. How do you know a horse shouldn’t be carrying say a 200+lb person?
What I have read is a horse can carry 15% of its own weight. That includes tack, of course.
❤
These horses have the same problems as me. Back: hip amd tmj
Under 30 secs
👇
😊🎉
Wished they had the pulse emf for humans lol 😂
Platelet Rich Plasma: they spin the blood down and take off the platelets. PRP
How old is Bobo?

Annie so so spicy but you can’t help but love her

I like nice horses because I'm mean enough for the both of us.

I heard it. Sounded like a click
Body slaps area so satisfying.. so is seeing them get aligned

No. She is helping and if Annie is rough she needs corrected

She already knew Katie was ok with it.
