Thank you for for your down to earth reaction to Dimash’s heartfelt song/video. It feels to me this video comes from a very vulnerable place within Dimash. It takes courage to share it with the world. I think if he has this much courage, gratitude, conviction, faith in himself, he will remain grounded.
I think - as you say - anyone would struggle with that level of fame, and Dimash is no different. In this he's saying he's so appreciative of all his Dears and Supporters and the opportunities success has brought him, but that also places celebrities / great artists up on unrealistic heights -unrealistic pedestals, where expectations can be ridiculously high. If you focus on the lyrics, he's also asking people to understand that he's also human. He might make mistakes, disappoint, go against expectations, as he continues to explore. Dimash has spent ( just about every minute! } of the past 24+ years perfecting his instrument', and he's been studying hard as well. Maybe now he has reached a place for reflection and considering what next?! Who knows!? This may be a time for Dimash to explore new artistic endeavours, new pathways.
