I feel like I had a bit of an identity conflict with this video, I wanted it to be a look at how I edit my audio, but also a beginner tutorial/guide. Maybe it would have been better to do one or the other. I still feel like I got my points across, and I'm happy with how it turned out. If you already understand the basics but you are still struggling with getting your voiceovers to sound powerful and crisp. Just remeber that the key is making lots of very minor changes that stack on top of eachother. And always start out with the mindset that you are making the audio sound (less bad) by making cuts in the frequencies that sound bad. Identifying harsh frequencies is something that takes practice and a willingness to learn.. after you have pulled out all the harsh frequencies then you can change your mindset to making it (sound better).
Really nicely done, I wish I had the ear for this kind of stuff, I could definitely tell the before and after but I couldn't tell some of the subtle things. But you did help me understand an easy way on how to get rid of room noise, and sometimes when there's that high pitch noise with a microphone. Thank you for helping me understand more of what a compressor and EQ and limiter and all does.
Im glad you got something out of it. It all comes with practice. There is a reason why there are world renowned audio professionals. But when it comes down to it, most people can easily make a voiceover sound 90% better with a basic understanding of the methods i showed, but getting it that extra 10% better on top of that, takes years of practice.
I totally learned something and that is nice sounding audio isn't only getting s nice mic it's a ton on work and that's only game audio. I really like how you made the video even i who didn't really cared about audio kind of know what you where doing there. So nice job. And how do you feel about the wipe ? Want to test some ship before the wipe ? Just hit me up on DC or something have a great day
weird question but was there ever a 2nd vid? the link was never updated in the description. i found this very helpful even though i still dont know what software you are using regardless

3:30 all I do is scream in my microphone 😳
Sometimes it's unavoidable. But if you turn your head so you arnt screaming directly into the mic, that will help prevent the software from peeking.
Next up I'm making s programming totorial. Joking
Are you doing something audio related as a job or how did you got so nice with that
It's just a hobby of mine. And something I've been doing for fun for a long time.
