@IyaEarthseeds if his speech patterns were Yoruba...why did he summon his henchmen by saying 'Abia'....that sounded like 'Bia', which is 'come'....why not 'e wa' or 'oya'.....most Nigerians use the inflection 'ooooo' after just about everything....if he is Yoruba, why call him Mbaku.....which if you ask me, sounds more Ndigbo, than Yoruba. I looove the Black Panther movie. As I watched, I was drawn by how subliminal and deep the cultural nuances where. The love tag between T'Challa and Nakia, the initiation ceremony for kingship, above all, Killmonger choosing to die rather than suffer shame. 'Iku yá ju esin', that right there is a Yoruba philosophy. Kudos to the team on their research but Mbaku/ The Jabari being modeled after the Yoruba tribe.....nah.....
