We Saw a TURTLE RELEASE in Costa Rica | Tortuguero National Park with kids

The turtle release in Costa Rica Tortuguero National Park is one of our favourite wildlife memories. The day before the release we went withe the kids on a night tour to see the turtles laying their eggs. Tortuguero National Park is one of the few places in the world where you can see turtles in the wild, with tours and releases managed by a local conservancy, with respect for the turtle's wellbeing. Turtle releases only happen a few times every year and we were lucky to visit Tortuguero during the turtle season.
