The first book is a nice standalone as just a pure “fairy tale” type one shot. I love the context of the larger story revealed by the second book, but I really appreciate the first book still for giving me that feeling of a kid reading a fairy tale again. It gave me very much “East of the Sun and West of the Moon” vibes and I loved it!
A Court of Mist and Fury was such a fun rollercoaster for me. I read it last year and it came to me at the perfect time in my life haha (pulled me out of a massive slump) Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on ACOWAR!!

I’m halfway through this book (chapter 20) I just finished Feyre meeting the bone carver. I’m feeling like Tamlin is using her. I’m not sure tho. He just doesn’t seem like he truly loves her. Especially after all she did under the mountain. I’m liking Rhys more

Here because it's been a year since I read ACOMAF and can't remember much of it but I'm planning to continue reading ACOWAR.

Feyre is an unreliable narrator. If you read the book w this in the back of your mind it helps
