No. I had heard rumors that EA was gonna step in and take over, But MSG created such a generous contract that EA wasn't willing to buy them out for it. The reason you're faster in fourth gear is because you're using a super speedway setup on a normal mile and a half. They didn't give new Atlanta but they still gave the same car type and set up that was needed for new Atlanta.
They have the Indy road track, they just didn’t adjust the schedule to change it. They also got rid of mid Ohio and Canadian tire because they aren’t on the schedule, but in mods they were subs for other tracks
it's better to leave motorsport games to rot. remember, their contract with nascar lasts until 2029 - if we can boycott the sale of any of their products, that's 6 less years we have to put up with their bullcrap.

I think HighC and the modding community said they weren’t going to touch the mod. They said that they couldn’t add any tracks or move the races in the career schedule back to where they should be (considering that the career schedule that MSG provided is inaccurate - races are in the wrong order and some are just completely missing). Also what frustrates me is that HighTV and the modding community work so hard to create a 2023 mod from the ground up and then MSG creates a mod for LAST YEARS SCHEMES about 2 weeks after HighTV and the modders (now, keep in mind that HighTV/ the modders literally get no money for this and are doing it for fun while MSG is probably a multi-million dollar professional corporate company. That’s just embarrassing). And if you think that isn’t enough, they are charging 10$ for something that should have been released last year. It’s just so idiotic. I’m not doing to buy the 2022 DLC and I will gladly stick to using the 2023 mod that HighC and the other modders worked on.
MSG Just needs to hire the modders for the 2023 mod and help them work on the next NASCAR game that will be released in either 2024 or 2025, because if they can get that out before an actual update, that says a lot.
Here’s more for you, you can’t adjust the car setup like previously. It’s just tighter or looser. Redick and bowman just don’t race in career mode because they have all three drivers in the 16 car taking up roster space. There also doesn’t appear to be any difference between two star and five star teams. One good improvement I noticed is you don’t get a contract offer after Daytona 500. Not sure when the first offer will come though. Only a few races in
Indy Road Course has an issue where the front tires like to lift off the ground, give a real cool Stadium Super truck vibe, really like how MSG incorporated that.
One problem I’ve been having as someone who bought the game through the PlayStation store on the PS4 is that whenever I try to make adjustments to the game and save them, the game always ends up crashing on me. Same goes when I finish a race. When I complete a race, it crashes and it’s like the race didn’t even happen. Career mode? Crash. Season mode? Crash. I’ve had so many crashes with this DLC that I think I’m gonna have more DNF’s with this DLC than Legacy Motor Club’s is gonna have for entirety of their season.
I play on ps5 and I'm having the same issue. I can only play Race now but can't change the settings without it crashing and can't play championship mode or career mode without it crashing either
From what I can tell, it uses the Gen 6 setup. Whatever you change on your Gen 6 car setup loads in the Gen 7 car. Only difference is that there's an extra gear that you can't see, so obviously, 5th is locked. But, it works. (This is strictly online, I don't think you can do this in any offline mode)
That whole game is unnacceptable : Motorsport Games should be ashamed of themselves. And NASCAR, if not tearing them a new one, should at least tear ther exclusivity deal.
If you play career with this 2022 roster, William Byron and Tyler Reddick do not race for some reason, they permanently sit out since there's more than 39 other AI, absolutely rediculous

Now we got two major contenders out. 🤦🏻♂️ I wonder, if you sign with a team that has multiple cars of the same number, Kaulig or RWR, #16 and #15 will you replace that main driver in the standings with the car you picked?
It’s time to just have a base game released with full modding allowed so modders can start just making and finishing these shit games since developers obviously could care less. Allow modders to build tracks for consoles as well
Here's a strange issue, I'm doing career mode 2022 and in the second season I noticed William Byron and Tyler Reddick are not racing, so there are drivers that will be in the points standings with no points and no starts on the season. That's broken unless it's some sort of "realistic injury" which is unlikely (Xbox version)
As one that has NASCAR Heat 5 on PlayStation and glad I didn't spend the $10 for the Next Gen update. Looking at how Atlanta, Sonoma, and the 2022 schedule got handled, they're not getting my $10. Looks like that whoever handled the update got lazy on those areas.
Im on Ps4 and it works great for me. The only issue is in split screen the engine noise isnt there most of the time. You can restart the race and get it back but if a caution comes out it goes away most of the time

I got NH5 towards the end of the 2020 season on PC and it already came with Indy Roval, Bristol Dirt, and WWT so I don't understand how they couldn't just redo the season with those tracks. Obviously they couldn't get COTA in there, but those other 3 already came pre-loaded in the game
I have the update on PS5 with no issues. Indy Roval is on the new update. No custom setups. I started 40th at Kansas on slider 9 no assist on Nascar Heat 5 2020 and finished 26th. I started 40th with the update at Kansas on slider 9 and finished 27th. I use a g29. At Daytona with the draft top speed 191mph. With 2020 top speed in the draft 210. I am going to start my career or Championship season with the 2020 version.
I saw a lot of ppl complaining about it not working on console, other ppl figured out if you unfortunately delete the cloud save data which sucks if you put a lot of work and time into it
Fun fact: I've done Martinsville and have to use 5th gear on it, even though there is no reason that 5th gear should be used on it (Chastain used 5th gear with the hail-melon but everyone else only went up to 4th gear).

Honestly i think the 2022 update becomes challenging if you tweaked all the AI settings against your favor and put the difficulty to 105 (which I'm sure a lot have done), but tweaking the settings seems to have help. BUT some tracks are just too easy in race now mode. Daytona is very easy until you lose the draft, but getting drafted by a pack or someone else behind you brings you back to the front pack. Bristol Dirt is easy yet you cab be everywhere while the AI is also everywhere. Dover however, for me, was actually challenging. Maxed difficulty and tweaked AI settings had me racing around 15th and staying there unless i lose position. I play on automatic though. I also never finished a race in race now because i was just testing it. Atlanta, William Byron waas ahead by so much as well, and i was in 5th gear the whole time. As said before, imo, some tracks are easy and some may not be. I started a career mode in the #7 car, i put it on Hard difficulty and kept the tweaked settings, it actually seems very ok to me. But there's a lot of things we can pick out as issues.
I keep getting the problem where on a random restart my car will only go up to 85mph and that’s it. Another couple of time the whole field was that way so I caused a caution and then it was fine again. Just makes me mad since I went from 3rd to 36th due to that EDIT: This happens every time I play now :( Wish I didn’t waste my money smh
The 2022 update for my Xbox just won’t work. I try to save my changes to my settings for game play and it will just freeze and the game will just stop. It’s been like this since I downloaded the new 2022 update. Most annoying shit ever!
Can't adjust setups to adjust the 5th gear either. I know you can select your setup with quick race/qualify because the setups carry over but there is a lot of stuff that needs to be fixed yet
Career Mode is kinda fucked up too, Legend AI can hardly keep up with you at any track. No Custom Set Ups for the Next Gen cars might be a reason the AI is a little slower, but the top half of the field can qualify a second faster than 15th place, but then in the race they're a second and a half slower than the player car.

On Xbox the game crashes after doing pretty much everything. You can do a race, game crashes while loading back to the menus. Change settings? Game crashes. Reset career? Game crashes.
last update messed up dlc even if you do not get updated dlc...my game still updated and removed my dlc...i had a backup and replaced updated files with backup..now my dlc is working again...pc version on steAM
7:00 That's not how software development works. The developers actually doing the work don't get to decide what gets added, how much time is dedicated and the amount of internal resources allocated. That is determined by meetings by designers/team leads and the business side of the project. In all likely hood the developer knew it could be better, advocated for it to be better and someone higher up on the business side said no, we need the dlc revenue on the books now so it's fine, just ship it. It's not about a lone developer being under paid or lazy.

For Xbox I've encountered the following. The game will crash out if you do any of the following A. Change Tracks B. Edit Difficulty C. Start Career D. Leave Online multiplayer I'm still playing through specifically to find more crash out events.

So I’m in PS. The update itself works but I can’t exit any menu because everytime I exit a menu it boots me saying “error CE-34878-0” which is a common error but when I do everything people say like “give space on PS check for updates” I gave as much space as I could and I have the newest update on everything. I’ve been told it’s just a me thing but idk
Tbh the stuff mentioned in the video is small stuff besides the number of races thing. They easily could’ve put Gateway and COTA in this update and just left Indy Road there since it was still there in 22. The Sonoma thing yeah it should be right but it’s small compared to the other stuff and the physics being right with the car

I was one of the modders for the 2023 mod (primary painter for the 2022 trucks). You cannot add tracks nor add additional drivers.

New Hampshire for me had the same problem. I use auto transmission and noticed my car just slowed ridiculously in 5th

Monster games wasn’t the all time best, but they would be such an upgrade from motorsport games.

Is it me or on my PlayStation it kicks me out mid race and when I’m choosing track and driver?
last update messed up dlc even if you do not get updated dlc...my game still updated and removed my dlc...i had a backup and replaced updated files with backup..now my dlc is working again...pc version on steAM
The dlc broke my game even though I don’t have the new dlc
The indy roval is in the game, just laziness it not being on the schedule
7:00 That's not how software development works. The developers actually doing the work don't get to decide what gets added, how much time is dedicated and the amount of internal resources allocated. That is determined by meetings by designers/team leads and the business side of the project. In all likely hood the developer knew it could be better, advocated for it to be better and someone higher up on the business side said no, we need the dlc revenue on the books now so it's fine, just ship it. It's not about a lone developer being under paid or lazy.
They also couldn’t even change make Gateway the correct number of laps.
So on Xbox I can't modify my car but I can only change my driver is this a thing

I haven't had crashing issues on ps4. But when I go back to the 2020 season I'm missing dlc paint schemes that I previously got.
Heh, some time ago I asked why Darlington Throwback pack 2 DLC and Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup 1.5 DLC is not available for Nascar HEAT Evolution on Steam they not reply back...sure game old and licence expired but come on, its only two DLCs not possible to take while others you can have it right away FOR FREE!
I cant go back to the 20 season.... everytime i just want to play the season screen freezes. Uninstalled and left out 2022 update still nothing....any ideas?

Yeah thats what happened to me. Game plays fine but I don't know how to get back the dlcs I already payed for. I'm playing on ps4.
Us Xbox one players didn't even get the dlc until the day after it was supposed to release, I didn't even buy it and my game won't load, now the only official nascar game I can play is heat mobile. Help.
NVM I just needed to use a different account , the save file was corrupted.
2020 Indy was the Oval the Roval was in 2021!
Idk if anyone else had this problem but I lost a few of my paint schemes for some of my drivers as well.
I don't feel like buying it for the ps4 now especially cause I can't even race chicagoland in race now with the update and that's sad
Just played the update on ps4 online, wasn’t horrible everybody was pretty even and it was cool to actually have a game with next gen that kinda works unlike nascar ignition
What makes it worse for you Heat 5 players,RIVALS HAS ALL THE NEW 2022 TRACKS.
Yes,They did take out Kentucky,Land and Indy Oval. But Rivals has Cota,New Atlanta etc.
It's honestly sad that Motorsport games takes out tracks.....But cant add the new ones. Its dumb

Funny thing,ive been stuck in 2nd place before for laps and laps,me and 1st place come up to lap everyone and they body block him and i slide into first. And i bought the dlc bundle thinking something would apply to my own car....i wasted 10 bucks
Also what's dumb is in custom season is you can't create a season cuz the playoffs don't work

Did you check on the 2020 season? I dont have the DLC, just the update. And all the cars from the Jimmie Johnson DLC pack are gone
June 28th, its been 24 hours and now my copy of nascar heat will not load past start up loading screen anymore....what a pos game
Did anyone honestly think this DLC would be any good coming from MSG? I gave them enough money with Ignition and don't plan on giving them a dollar more like a sucker.
For Xbox I've encountered the following.
The game will crash out if you do any of the following
A. Change Tracks
B. Edit Difficulty
C. Start Career
D. Leave Online multiplayer
I'm still playing through specifically to find more crash out events.
My game keeps crashing after I do one race and or try to change my settings on ps4. It even does that in the 2020 season.

The inside of the car shows the 2020 heat 5 car screen and not the yellow digital screen for 2022 car

The update ended mod support (game crashes with it reinstalled) and even my 2020 DLC doesn't show up
Me personally I like that layout of sears point, I grew up with the carasel, (however you spell it)
Honestly Moders should run motorsport games because motorsport games can never get things right. And I can’t see them get anything right from what they have put out so far. But seriously why is Sonoma have that layout??
So I’m in PS. The update itself works but I can’t exit any menu because everytime I exit a menu it boots me saying “error CE-34878-0” which is a common error but when I do everything people say like “give space on PS check for updates” I gave as much space as I could and I have the newest update on everything. I’ve been told it’s just a me thing but idk

Tbh the stuff mentioned in the video is small stuff besides the number of races thing. They easily could’ve put Gateway and COTA in this update and just left Indy Road there since it was still there in 22. The Sonoma thing yeah it should be right but it’s small compared to the other stuff and the physics being right with the car

If Motorsport games can't make the racing games better it will be disappointing for all of the NASCAR gamers.
Atleast they were able to keep the rear view mirror in the game
