- Thousands of police officers from across the U.S. gathered at the Pratt and Whitney Stadium in Connecticut for the joint funeral of two officers killed in an apparent ambush. Lt. Dustin Demonte and Sgt. Alex Hamzy were both promoted posthumously. Tanya Rivero shares more.

notice that mostly cops attended this funeral, not many citizens unless they were family lol!! headline should have been thousand of cops at funeral,lol
I would in no way shape or form condone this type of action against anyone, but I can understand how people feel. Cops commit crimes on the public every day with little to no reprecutions. They stand idol out schools as children are being murdered in the class rooms. They respond with violence when none is needed and when wuestioned about their responses to a given situation they respond with "They acted with department policies" or "We cinducted and investigatiin and found no wrong doing on the officers part".
My condolences go out to the families of these men.
