Saladin's story with the cabal is one my favorites to hear about, its probably one of the few story threads that could keep my attention thoroughly after the final shapes comes out later this year.
I think the guardian should raise the Ahamkara. It's clear everyone else has a stake in controlling that power. We're already the most powerful Guardian that ever lived.
Honestly i would expect more tension within our groups. It'd ve very interesting to have a similarly situation as we had in D1 with the awoken. Diplomacy and shifting tensions... there's a lot of interesting stories to be told because right now we're united under a common enemy, but afterwards the cabal themselves might fracture again.
On a serious note I hope Sony really puts everything they’ve got into Destiny as a show in the future, the lore has never let me down since I’ve learned about it in D1
We need a Destiny Visions series similar to what Star Wars did on Disney+ . Just different stories from the lore depicted with different styles of animation. It would be so dope
a 20 man Guardian raid/public events hunting ahamkara would be super fun. All you see is like 10 thunder crashes a wave of blade barrages and nova bombs dropping like Tengai Shinsei. So epic your game crashes 😂
W video and W channel. I wish there was a cutscene in-game for this dialogue because I really like the Saladin-Caitl story parts. Hopefully, this difference of opinion about the Ahamkara doesn't ruin the relationship between the Guardians/Awoken and the Cabal. I love how we've partnered up.
Actually. That would be an interesting Season/Episode. Having the conflict between, once again execute the 2nd ahamkara hunt or to protect the new generation of the ahamkara.
It will be interesting to see how this will play out... The Cabal would be effectively returned to enemies in this sense, in terms of a Great Hunt 2: Electric Boogaloo... but who would come out on top? Mara Sov is resourceful as well... if she is inclined to help protect the Ahamkara... I don't know how much the Cabal could really do to get past that... It will certainly be interesting to see how this little story thread develops for sure... hopefully it turns into something of great interest in the future...

So, will the Cabal turn on humanity after we nuke the Witness? Possibly a mutiny against Caital by her own people for siding with humanity in the end. TBH I don't want Caital to die, she's also Amanda's VA, and is a big part in the story as of late, although minor this year.
hell if there is another great hunt we damn well better get to take part. I wouldn't mind being a more accomplished dragon slayer. unless these new Ahamkara are more like Taranis than Riven, a great hunt round two is inevitable. I hope they are like their father but I doubt it

Mmmmmmnn, no! I’ve been waiting for dragon riding guardians for ages! Caiatl has a good point….on the safe side. But, no matter how good a point it is, anyone who dare layeth a finger on my baby dragon get’s their head blown off! Empress or not.
I am the wish keeper and none of those whims will be touched as long as I still have light and strength to fight!! They are young and haven’t been taught anything. Should they become a problem I will handle it myself but those children are under my care and as long as they are Saladin Caital and all of her war council will have to go through me first. There will be no great hunt unless I deem it necessary and as long as the dragons have the capability to be like Taranis and not like riven they will not be touched!! By the travelers light and my own darkness I will defend those children until my final death and you can bet on that.

back in the day of the 12 man raids, my clan had all 12 of us shoot Telesto at the chest at the end of DSC. crashed the game. there was much laughter

We need cutscenes when interacting with the dialogue thing instead. But a mixture of both cutscenes and just talking so we won’t see it coming
