Just got one of these on the Bay for $25 and it works a charm. Unlike you though, I was ten when this tv came out, lol. Either way, tech nostalgia and retro are obviously on the comeback and we all love to see this stuff! Keep making videos my man!
Thanks for making this. I still don't understand how the coax is transmitting everything through the one cable, but I guess that means maybe that three-way split cable isn't necessary. The three rings around that male end is supposed to indicate 2 audio (stereo) and 1 video. That's the 3 black rings. But everything seems to be coming over the one. At first i thought you'd have no sound and just video. I think its time to pick one of these up, see what i can do with it.
Great video! Can you list the connection from the tv to your device that you want displayed on the tv? So starting at the tv, you have the a/v adapter plugged into the back. Then you have the single orange cable connected to it...where does the other end of the orange cable hook into? Does the orange cable hook into to Cimple Co thing? HELP!
you think people will judge 2 CRT TV sets, I have 2 watchman FD-10A and FD-40A but I also have 3 pocket LCD TV's a casio and 2 Optimus of the same design. I also have 2 Panasonic B&W 5" TV's oh and 5 Magnavox RD0510 color 5" CRT TVs. don't worry about your screens ;p
The orange cable was a spare I had lying around. Any standard composite cables would work just as well! I needed a 3.5mm to AV adapter, an RF to RF cable, an RF cable to Coax adapter, AV cables, an HDMI to AV converter, and finally an HDMI device with a cable.

@@ardenpipsinc thanks man, but I figured it it out earlier and this is my FD-510 hooked up to a Fire TV Stick 😀 ruclips.net/video/S-gWFmqwr9I/видео.html
It would be possible to connect a phone using this method. If all you're getting is static then that probably isn't a good sign. Maybe check your UHF/VHF switch or the power going through the adapters. Hope I could help!
You are going to watch this video later in life and be glad that you created it. It will give you a glimpse of your former younger self.
This is some of the most wholesome tech video I've seen in a while.

u might be a nerd that does this for fun but this was really fckng cool yo

Very good vid! Ill be getting one of these soon!
Have you ever hooked up a VCR to it?
Nice job dude.
I just bought one a couple days ago, how would I connect it to a vcr?
You'd do most of the same steps, however you could stop at either the AV portion or even the Coax if you'd like
Cool! I'm interested in getting one!

That’s a lot of things that require to do this but one question for for the cimple co power supply do need two coax cables or one coax cable
You only need one. The other port is a passthrough port that allows for other devices to be daisy chained through the adapter. Hope that helps!
@@ardenpipsinc oh thanks I thought you needed two for the av adapter
this is great
Lol I love this video!
If I wanted to connect it to a camcorder how could I record the image from the cube to an outsource?
You could hook it up to a VCR or get a video capture box for your PC!
What is the total list of items you needed to do this? What was the orange cable?

@@ardenpipsinc do you have the link for the adapter that you stick into the Walkman?

Very nice video 🔥
I want to put an external antenna on mind, what type of adapter should I buy to receive TV signal on my Mega Watchman ? Thanks
what hdmi adapter is it? or did you show us and im just stupid
It's just a generic one from eBay. Anyone that converts down to AV should work.
would it be possible to connect it to your phone? mine doesn’t show any pictures only the snow screen so would that effect it ?

SO COOL

Fun
im a nerd too bro
Says b&w but it’s showing colors.
It does stay on the TV itself that it is indeed a B&W monitor, and it does not show any colors, only grayscale.
