Gorgeous! If I get another snake im pretty sure its going to be a Dumerils boa. They're so underrated. They're absolutely gorgeous animals. Thanks for showing us this. It turned out great. Have a great night
Good build! Getting a Dumeril's boa soon myself, was hoping to go with a planted bioactive too, but was not encouraged by the lack of bioactive builds for them on here until I came to your video. Thanks, and looking forward to the update when it comes!
Wow. This is really great. Weighing the pros and cons of getting a Dumeril's, myself. We have a twelve year-old-BP and think it may be time to add another member to the family.
The enclosure turned out great, you can be very proud! An update (about the plants and how your snake got used to the new enclosure) would be super interesting
I thought any kind of wood could be considered driftwood. Isn't driftwood created from the process of being in a body of water for a certain amount of time.
What a cluttered mess. Never put heat pad inside enclosure. And what was the false bottom for? It is supposed to be used as a drainage layer but it wasn't utilized for that. Snake has no floor space to move around on. Looks good, just not functional for a dumerils boa.
What's the issue with putting the heat pad in the enclosure if there's a barrier between it and the snake? Also, I've since removed the drainage layer but what do you think it was used for if not for a drainage layer? Perhaps it's not enough space for your boa but I know my boa likes to stay hidden and is not very active.
I'd love to see an update 🫶🏾

Absolutely love my Dumeril's. It's more hardier than my BP and I cam feed it bigger things.
It's beautiful! I love the really large plant in there.
Loved it! Full of great ideas & knowledge 🐍🍀🌿🐢🐛
Yes I loved it so much! How is the dumeril loving it? I want to start with a mini bio enclosure cause my snake gonna be a baby... lol
I hope she likes it lol she's not very active so I can't really tell 😅
So how does it look now? Boas are destructive! It looks incredible though. Love the climbing branch, that is a happy boa. :D
She tramples everything 😂😩

Thank you! Definitely have an update coming down the pipeline
That large branch - what kind of wood is that ?
Unfortunately I have no idea
my guess would be driftwood. i could be mistaken but driftwood is definitely the most recommended for snake/reptile enclosures.

But hows it doin 8 months later
Doing an update soon. Currently in the process of moving.
👍🏾🤩
That's a small enclosure for a dumerils boa
She's only around 4 ft and the length is 4 ft so why would it be considered small?
