    The Silver Sky Studio is the base level room on property and features a small bedroom, bathroom with an indoor shower as well as a beautiful view of the lagoon from any of the buildings. These rooms are on the second floor. Unlike entry level rooms in basically any other destination around the world, every single entry level room has a fabulous view. There is no such thing as “garden view” or worse here. We didn’t tour a sky studio, but they are essentially the same as the next room type on the list, minus the outdoor shower.
    This standalone Gold Beach villa is similar to the platinum overwater villas. It features a bathroom with double vanity, freestanding tub, indoor shower, king bed and the direct lagoon access via the beach. This villa is a great option for travelers looking for privacy and seclusion a step below the water villas.
    The platinum overwater without a pool is the exact same layout as the overwater with a pool. The only difference is that they feature hammocks instead of the pool. In general, we like the location and views of these villas, however, the section of villas on the far end of the island does face in towards the Sessions restaurant that play music in the evenings.
    The 2-bedroom Rock Royalty villa type features a king bedroom as the primary, as well as a double room with two double beds. It also has two bathrooms, a large living room with dining set for four as well as a terrace that spans the length of the villa. It is complete with an infinity pool, outdoor lounge area and a hammock. This is a fantastic option for a group of friends of family with older kids.
    Finally, the Rock Star Villa. This is the “ultimate” party villa, complete with just one bedroom with fabulous bathroom as well as a massive living room and terrace. The interior living space has a large dining set, circular sofa with a large circular glass floor, tons of memorabilia as well as the fantastic view. The outdoor space has a large infinity pool, Tuk-Tuk bar cart, lounge area, hammock and dining set. This is a great villa for events, get-togethers or bachelor parties. Since there is only one bedroom it’s not an ideal booking for groups or families. It does connect to another Platinum Overwater Pool Villa, so that is an option.

    Great video. Looks like a lot of fun. I have seen a couple of others for this property, but you clearly do an outstanding job with breaking down the rooms. DONT I WISH...WOW

    Quick question on the rooms, do the windows have dark curtains to block out light if you wanna nap in the middle of the day? From what I could say it seems like the curtains are white and light... Would be great if you could share some info on this 😊

      Hey there! Thanks for your comment! Yes, the curtains are blackout so perfect for napping or avoiding the morning light :). There are sheers and the blackout curtains available!

      @@VoyagerGuru Awesome, thank you for the reply... One more thing, I know you can use restaurants at either resort but can you use the facilities as well for free? For example if I'm staying at Hardrock can I use the Saii Lagoon pool as part of the package?

    • @VoyagerGuru
      @VoyagerGuru  Год назад

      Hi Jim! Yes great question- you can use any of the facilities at SAii like going to the pool, beach areas, restaurants and even the beach club. I will say the beach club gets overrun with day trippers so we recommend the SAii pool or hard rock pool area over the marina beach club :).

    Hi guys thank you so much for the video. We are meant to be in the Maldives but I became unwell so we have rescheduled for next year. Please can you help us with our decision making. We like paradise island (we like it a little lively as I cannot lie on the beach all day but also we would like the choice of going somewhere quiet) however I'm swaying towards Hard rock because of those two choices. It's for our 23 year anniversary no children

      Hi Belinda!! Thanks for your comment and I’m so sorry to hear you aren’t well!! I hope you get better soon❤️. I would 100000% recommend hard rock over paradise. Hard rock has excellent food, tons of options, it’s super lively and fun and the marina is amazing. Paradise was a bit disappointing and hard rock/ saii lagoon are a fantastic new experience in the Maldives - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. I would say if you like it to be super quiet at night, one option is either book the hard rock overwater villa or beach villas near the spa, or book saii lagoon because it’s a much quieter property and you just walk over the bridge to all the fun, music, party vibes but get to retreat back to a quiet place. We loved stayed at saii and going over the hard rock when we wanted some entertainment

    Are there hospitals if someone falls sick? I have heard they airlift patients to hospitals in India

    • @VoyagerGuru

      Hi Indu, thanks for your comment! All the islands do have medical centers and if there is a larger medical emergency, then patients are taken to Male where there are multiple great hospitals. I hope this helps!

    First. Thanks for the vid, but definitely not one of the better Hard Rock properties, even though it's in the Maldives. Seems like they just put a property there, just to say they have a property "in the maldives." Plenty of a lot better properties in the maldives (Nautilus, Park Hyatt Hadahaa, Huvafen Fushi, Conrad, St. Regis Vommuli, Gili Lankanfushi, Four Seasons Kuda huraa, Waldorf Astoria, One&Only Reethi Rah, Soneva Jani, Soneva Fushi). The Hard Rock has some good properties, but this maldives property is a miss. However, thanks for the video. It was good to see what the property looks like.

      Hey there! Thanks for your comment! We found it to be a really wonderful surprise (stay tuned for the hotel review coming soon). Of course, Nautilus and the other amazing properties you mentioned are incredible, but they're a very different price point. When you look at the Hard Rock that usually starts around $300, it's a big different to jump to $1000+. For the price, we found the crossroads complex to be an insanely good value. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a lower price point with great amenities and beaches. Have you been to the hard rock here?
